WIREX is a FRAUDULENT CRYPTO COMPANY, MALA PRACTICES... since it has not been authorised by HAFAN authority in its country to handle and manage crypto finantial products based on the lack of the customer rights.They have fake customer support numbers. They do spam and through this strategy send notifications to customers so they are not adviced properly, they work in different markets but their agents do not understand more than English, no Terme and conditions in market language,...etc... They stole money based on abusive storage fee without anything in return for the customers... etc...

I have had a wirex account. Used the card, transfered crypto back and forward. With No problem at all. And then I did something wrong. I didnt put my destination tag. Ok, that was my fault. Then I contacted wirex, trough a ticket. No response in over a month. I wrote several times. Then I wrote to them at X. And they finale answered. They promised to fix it. Then nothing happend. I got the messege. Not to worried, and I would get my fund. Now I understand that they took it. Because to solve this, problem and use over to months. Now they stoped replying me. And no, XRP. I got screenshot of everything. To bad it is like this. Card was greate. But to get help from qustomer suport. It is terrible and a nightmare. Now there is no communication no money. Then I desided to close my account. If they want they can transfer it to my wallet i sent it from. But I doubt it. My adviser is. STAY AWAY!

I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with the Wirex app, which claims to be a reliable neo bank and crypto wallet. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but reliable. If you value your time, privacy, and financial stability, I strongly advise against using the Wirex app due to their egregious practices.Upon depositing money, including cryptocurrencies, Wirex immediately bombards users with an excessive number of document requests, focusing on the source of funds and income. In an alarmingly invasive manner, they repeatedly demand multiple forms of proof of address and identity verification. This never-ending loop of requests for personal information is not only excessive, but also raises serious concerns about the privacy and security of user data.
To make matters worse, after complying with these unreasonable requirements, Wirex abruptly closes, blocks, and freezes accounts without providing any valid explanation. In my case, they have frozen my money, leaving it inaccessible, and have done nothing more than send me repetitive replies about processing my refund request. It is evident that Wirex has no intention of resolving this matter promptly or transparently.
Such actions demonstrate a complete lack of respect for their users and a disregard for the basic principles of customer service. Entrusting Wirex with your hard-earned money results in an arduous and frustrating experience, leaving users with no choice but to navigate through a convoluted system that offers no resolution in sight.
It is deeply concerning that Wirex continues to hold my funds hostage, failing to provide adequate support or concrete answers. Their repeated claims of processing refund requests without any further action or timeline only exacerbate the frustration and anxiety that users are forced to endure.
My hope in sharing this negative review is to warn potential users about the inherent risks associated with Wirex. Their excessive document requests, arbitrary closures, and the freezing of funds are blatant violations of user trust and confidence. I strongly urge individuals seeking reliable and trustworthy banking and crypto wallet services to explore other options that prioritize user satisfaction and uphold high standards of reliability and security.

This business wants me to verify my details AGAIN after three years of being a customer. Their verification links / process don't work and I only could make contact by Twitter. Now they are telling me to deposit €300 in bitcoin so they can reset or 'synchronise' my account.
I told them 'no' and a token amount of €10 is enough to confirm my source of revenue is legit.
So they replied with this -

How much can you afford now ?
So we can help you out.'
I told them they are bullying customers and their tactic 'amounts to financial blackmail'
They replied 'ok sir'
Wirex, behave like Nigerian scammers.
Advice - draw your funds out as I have done and warn others.
It's amazing they have a few good reviews.

Anyone who says anything positive about Wirex are either employees or people paid to do so.Like so many others they asked for all sorts of documents which I sent several times. They then said
"To adhere to regulatory requirements, we are obliged to conduct compliance checks on our client base. Unfortunately, our most recent check has revealed that there is cause to permanently block your account. This email is to give you 30 days notice to allow you to withdraw your funds.
After the account is blocked you will lose access to the funds, so your urgent attention is required in this matter. "
The account was already blocked so there was nothing I could do. I lost all my money

RON currency funds blocked!The wirex card is not anymore linked to RON currency. RON currency was removed from traditional currencies. I can not use the funds (in RON) even to make exchanges. I can't make TOP-UP, I can't pay with card, the RON currency was removed completely. I used the card 1 year without a problem, everything was perfect... And now I can't use the RON currency, and I am an ELITE package with 30 eur / month!!!!
Update: 15.03.2023 - I received a message from WIREX, that they know the problem and they resolve the issue soon, I received the email very quickly, but all my tickets (few from 5 days ago with the same problem) was set RESOLVED by them, but the problem was not resolved in reality... It's not ok, that you say that you resolved a problem, but in reality the RON currency is blocked and we can't USE!
The RON currency problem is still persisting, I've discussed by other clients of wirex from Romania, and all of them has the same problem!
Wirex: Please URGENTLY resolve the issue, because our RON funds are blocked in the sistem!
Update: 17.03.2023 - Nothing happens, only emails and replays for tickets, but the RON currency doesn't work and our funds are blocked! Not normal in 2023 that a service is unreachable 7 days!!!!

They get my money and block my accountI open the account to receive help from families and friends for my studies in Spain and when I try to exchange the fund to a wallet a couple of days ago, the app crush all the time. At the time I didn’t have enough signal so I don’t really care.
Today I receive the last funds, in total not more then 800€ aprox, and when I try to withdraw the funds, they block my account. I contact support and they wrote me back asking me for the source funds (again, less then 800€) and I don’t have any more news.
If you really relay in this service to live, run away, this is not the right option.

Definitely the worst service. Wirex closes your account saying false reasons like outstanding balance, which is totally false in my case. I'm not the only one, in the Wirex community and other sites you'll find a lot of complaints about this scam company. I suggest to those who use this service to ASAP withdraw your crypto and close your account, then move to other better service. Wirex will block you soon or later and ask for 30 GBP to send your remaining crypto to your bank account. #NotYourKeysNotYourCoins

I have been a Wirex user for more than 1 and a half years.I have earned more than 38,000 wtx, using the promotions of the cryptomas day platform etc.
Today 05/24/2022, I have entered my account and more than 34,000 WTX coins have disappeared from my account.
Customer service now invents things to not return them.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND, THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY, THEY TAKE YOUR COINS FROM YOU AND ONLY TELL ME THAT THEY WILL STUDY MY CASE!! A SHAME.

Do not use Wirex. There Wirex Bot and staff are patronising and make fun of people. They have my money and won't give it back. All I asked them to do was change my address; they were provided with a verified address and have attacked me ever since, Staff are incompetent and start a process but do not complete. I have never experienced such poor customer service; they are shocking and completely unable to accept feedback or rectify mistakes.

Like many others here I have a lot of money in Wirex which is in Bitcoin. Wirex have frozen my account and keep telling me that I have to verify my source of income which is a pension. I have verified but they still send the exact same email telling that I have to verify my source of income. I have told them to close the account and where to send the funds but they simply keep telling me that I have to verify my source of income without any actual communication. They are best avoided.

They are not paying the promised promotions for several weeks now. Wirex is doing fake promotions and then never pays you despite the fact they admit you match the criteria. Better not start with them.

My funds value in Wirex account is €5,000.00 . Wirex locked my account on 22nd Dec 2021. I contacted their support team many times but got NO solution. Only lies and thesame stories,Support team is just replying copy and paste text to all.
Like many customers, I waited moths now, for this time for the price of Crypto to increase and Wirex has stolen my money, my earnings and my dreams.
Beware of this..........!!!

SELECTIVE scammers like another reviewer worded eloquently. Almost a year since Wirex locked my account without an explanation.
All I did was changing my address after moving to another country. All documented and verified by them. Yet they locked me out and kept my money since 2020 without doing anything.
Customer support feeds me and others like me with BS that somebody will soon look into it. But nothing is done. My account still locked.
Wirex is stealing money and scamming customers. Typical Russian business with Russian mentality that you can treat people like dirt and keep their money.
I’ve used Wirex for several years and was happy about their service. Until they stole my money. Never again trusting a company started by Russians. You will always end up robbed.

My account was blocked in February, after almost an year is still blocked with no answer, reason or solution. In all this time I contacted support team several times and I always got the same lies as answer, that relevant team is reviewing my account and cheap excuses. Almost an year and no solution or proper answer. Check it on blockchain, I transacted over 3 BTC on Wirex (I won’t mention other crypto aswell) until they decided to lock it for no reason.
