MoonPay entertain scams and protect them by blocking their accounts without supporting the victims. It seems all scammers use Moonbay since their system is flawed in favor of scammers. Worst customer support that give generic answers that mean nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMMANY. If you support them, you are supporting FRAUD.

Scam caller from Tesl3r using moonpay to hide behind their scam ways. Nearly took my money but found out they were not ppl from moonpay. Scam caller uses different numbers from different areas in the world. Be sure it is moonpay before writing a review.

Don’t go near it. Zero customer support. Got scammed for $15,000. Transaction was stuck for two days. MoonPay could have reversed it. Did nothing but ignore me.

They require you to upload a drivers license front /then back and then a selfie. After this transaction is approved they wanted a Bank Statement, Tax Bill etc with the same address. Did this even though this is heading into stealing my identity and not KNYC area and the rejected it and want more documents.A poor service and SO DO NOT USE AND OPENS YOU TO IDENTITY THEFT....
The kicker is they pend your money for up to 10 days apparently before returning it (Blaming the banks l assume).

I got involved in transactions with Moonpay due to bogus tech support call.I contacted this company right away but the exact answer was " No-one is safe from scams and here at MoonPay."
Be careful because they don't want to help victims.
Scammed out of money - June 20, 2021
My disabled step-daughter was scammed for close to $700. Someone had got to her bank account and took all her money and bought bitcoin from MoonPay. Moonpay would not reverse the transactions and would not provide information on who the purchaser was, despite them saying they new it was a scam. Avoid this company as they do not help the innocent.

Was scammed today by someone claiming to be from Amazon who stole $2000 from my checking account via Moonpay.. not sure if the scammer is from Moonpay or not but it's clear this company is involved directly and /or indirectly in scams they will take no responsibility for let alone offer any credible customer support for those victimized by such scams..

Was scammed today out of money from moon pay com when they were pretending to be with PayPal and they stole and attempted to steal thousands from us. BE AWARE! Asked to to copy my driver license and took a photo of me to so-called verify our PayPal account to be able to receive credit card payments. BE AWARE! BE VERY AWARE!

They told me they could not verify my address, keep asking for diffrent types of documents. They never could. In the meantime they took the money from my account. Run Run Fast!

Their customer support is a scam. No one actually reads you support tickets and responds it’s all automated BS. Been trying to resolve an issue for a week now but i just continuously get automated messages. Literally money was taken money from my account without my permission by moonpay support and they are just trying to avoid me now. So if you feel like you are never going to run into any problems that you may need a support rep to help you with then sure Moonpay is fine. But if you ever need a support ticket answered in the future you are essentially screwed. SCAM BUSINESS. I WOULD AVOID USING THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS.

I purchased 60.00 worth of crypto and my financial institution was charged 154.66. This is fraudulent and MoonPay is a scam. I messaged customer services and they said they could do nothing. Now I’m left with slandering the MoonPay name on every platform I can. Hope it was worth it MoonPay!

Paid $112 for $100 of Bitcoin. Only $95 was deposited into my wallet. When I transferred the $95 out of the wallet to Coinbase, they deposited $85 to my Coinbase wallet. Wasted $27 in fees! Super scam!

Absolutely scam and fraud. Avoid MoonPay at all costs. They charged my account immediately once I authorized the transaction and it's been 15 hours and still nothing. Verified my charges with my bank and my wallet address. They don't have customer support so your money is gone if you choose them be careful
