Yes I agree with everyone saying that Moonpay is a scam company. You know how I know? Because I've been scammed by these crooks. I have had $2025 worth of ETH that I bought from them with trust but this trust was broken. After I deposited this money and tries to sell it (take my funds out) they said they don't service my area. So I was locked in with them without my consent. So I left these funds in there and waited for them to start servicing my area. When I went to go check on my funds my $2025 went missing and they left me with only $3.65. The customer service reps are useless. They keep repeating everything and they don't get to the point of where my missing funds are. So please save yourself the headache because they will scam you.Be warned....

My bank card was stolen on holiday last week and transaction after transaction has been sent through Moonpay. How can this company even be safe and trusted when all you need is a bank card to steal thousands of pounds without an address or any time of confirmation of identify. I am absolutely fuming they make it so easy for these people.

Don't use Moonpay.Moonpay scammed me for 30 euros.
Esportsbets and their partnered service Moonpay scammed me out of 30 euros. I did want to try it out and play around with some small betting for fun on esports.
I wanted transition 30eur into USDT. Esportbets is partnered with moonpay.
Moonpay took 12 eur transaction fees out of the 30 euro (without mentioning these fees in the buying flow) and now the USDT I have is appearantly not enough to withdraw and bring it to the esportsbets platform or anywhere else. So it's stuck there unless I pay a lot more fees. They aren't even able to tell me how much I need to put in there in order to be able to withdraw it.
Moonpay service is a mess, in over 6 hours they haven't been able to respond to me at all.
Im very happy I just tested it with 30 euros and not anything more.
Both customer support teams weren't willing to help me.

Same here. They say they are processing the purchase, but it doesn't go through. The virtual assistant says they are getting an agent to speak to me, but it doesn't happen. Scam, Scam, Scam.

I’ve been actively trading and investing in cryptocurrencies across various exchanges without issue. However, my experience with Moonpay has been deeply disappointing. Despite making several diverse purchases, Moonpay abruptly decided to disable my account without any explanation. Attempts to resolve this issue have been fruitless; the support team has been unresponsive to my emails and support tickets.What’s more concerning is that I still have funds within my account that I’m unable to withdraw. This lack of communication and transparency from Moonpay has left me feeling frustrated and helpless. It’s disheartening to see a company operate with such disregard for customer satisfaction and basic service standards.
I had high hopes for using Moonpay as a platform for my cryptocurrency transactions, but this experience has severely impacted my trust in their service. To anyone considering using Moonpay, I’d advise caution based on my own experience. The inability to access one’s own funds and the lack of support response is not something any customer should have to deal with.

I made a purchase of BTC via the moonpay app and it went into my moonpay wallet. All good. 5 days later I check in to see how my little investment is doing and find my wallet is totally empty with a balance of $0.00Help desk were useless and told me that I had moved my BTC to another wallet which I had not done and wouldn’t know how to even if I wanted to do that. That was where their “help” ended. Was given the same explanation over and over, I had moved it and they can’t help further.
So that’s it, my BTC/funds have gone and they take ZERO responsibility for it. I’ll be taking further action via my Bank and VISA, see how I go.

The site unfortunately has a lot of technical errors and when you ask support, you get a lot of different solutions from the agents. It is not possible to send and / or sell crypto everything is argued with technical errors. Biggest mistake to have bought there, have risen to the crypto hype without providing service. Pure greed

I tried cashing out $4k of BTC with Moonpay. The process was taking forever so I finally canceled and requested a refund. That was 3 days ago and still nothing. So, Moonpay STOLE $4k from me that I really need! DO NOT USE. Thieves.
