Excellent platform to exchange AUD, USD and NZD currencies with bitcoin, ether. The exchange is working to introduce other cryptocurrencies particularly ripple's XRP. I am particularly keen on this currency but have bought bitcoin through this platform. At that time, a bitcoin was around 4000 nzd. There's an initial, but secure, registration that you need to go through and loading NZD will incur a small token while AUD account holders do not. I initially loaded a couple of hundred dollars to the account to test it and have been using the account since. Moving your currencies to your wallet or other exchanges was also fast and fluid. Tech support were helpful and responded quickly to queries/clarification. I cant wait until they open XRP/NZD market.

Awful. Hopeless support. Verifying ID is a complete nightmare. Extremely slow in responding to msg's and extremely unhelpful..... Still waiting for verification..... waiting............ waiting............ have lost potential profit and VERY unhappy!!!

Quick to credit deposits and also to transfer withdrawals. Fees are very reasonable. The company appears to do everything right for the customer!My "only" complaint is the lag in quoted prices when comparing to other exchanges.

If you are looking to buy Bitcoin in Australia these guys are up there on price and liquidity only behind BTC markets.Where they fall down is the fact they only offer 3 markets. BITCOIN,ETHEREUM, and BITCOIN CASH.
Their broker fees are 0.5% per trade which is below BTC markets which starts at 0.85% for BTC/AUD trades
For these reasons I would say one of the best bets in AUS for Bitcoin/ETH purchases.

They have an unacceptable flaw in their systems where sometimes when I raise a buy limit order and the price hits that number, the buy order just completely disappears without a trace! I reached out to their support team who just said yes that sometimes happens, just raise another order.
I find this to be totally unacceptable as a trading platform. How can you just brush off something like this and tell me to "just raise another order"? I missed out on the price I wanted, and it just seems to me they are aware of this issue but are not really doing anything to fix it. The support team has suddenly gone silent on me as well.
Dodgy provider. Would not recommend.

been using this exchange for at least 15 months, no complaints ,fast responses to support,friendly helpful advice..great exchange ,only problem is fees compared to offshore sites and the spread seems to be a little highersummary

I have used around half of the exchanges available in Australia, but the independent reserve it is so far, the easiest to used, quickest to set up with one of the most reasonable fees in the region (after a long long research and playing around with more than few exchanges) … just be aware the buying price is based on the average… nevertheless, the independent reserve so far has been surprisingly good over all…Coinjar: I had to raise a support ticket almost every deposit, due too many delays; average response time is not too bad, good mobile app, quick verification process.
Bitcoin Australia: Very high fees (not reasonable at all), quick to deliver but difficult when the deposit is higher than AUD$2500 the time invested, just not worth it …
CoinSpot: Total non-sense…
CoinLoft: Good mobile app, that's it…. Issues with the verification and then slow…
Btradeaustralia: unreliable website, high fees slow verification process… (The worst)
I could keep going on and on… Do your own diligences…. Research and research more…

Great platform to buy, sell and trade. Low volume but its an AUS and NZ page so expected. Should continue to rise.I've bought all my crypto tbrough them never a problem.

This exchange has the most attractive fees I could found. They also pay much attention to security and stability. I've been trading with them for a year already, there were no any problems. Support is great as well.

I've used a number of exchanges and market places over the years. Independent Reserve has been one of the best and most stable. As mentioned by another reviewer, their support is second to none. Their interface is solid. And every transaction I've had with them has been smooth and swift. I've never had any issues with deposits or withdrawals, which is a first for a Bitcoin Exchange.Definitely the choice for Australian and New Zealand bitcoin community.
