Would have given a lower star rating if I could have.Although I read multiple reviews about the warnings of this site, I needed to use it as the coin I wanted only exchanged on HitBTC. This is the only positive thing I can say. The one coin I wanted was on here.
When I signed up, I made my deposit and it took me 3 hours to actually access the site after making the deposit - why you ask? Because it was down!! Constantly crashing (using various browsers) I finally was able to get in and make my trade.
When I went to withdraw it, I found out that it would cost me more than half my funds to withdraw to my wallet (we're talking $75 here).
When I sent thought a request asking why the withdrawal fee was so high, I never got a response. Instead after 5 days I noticed the withdrawal fee had actually dropped.
During this time I experienced several freeze outs where I could not access my coins. You are required to transfer coins from your wallet to the exchange, and then when on the exchange if it is a popular coin (high trade volume) it is often frozen and you cannot move it. Also worked the other way where I had it in my online wallet on HitBTC and could not transfer it to trade - leaving e losing out on potential profit.
Finally I decided to give up on it all. I sold all my coins and made a withdrawal. 5 hours to confirm the withdrawal. And 24 hours later I am still wondering where my money is.
I understand there's congestion for BTC, however I look into the transaction and apparently there's 301 outputs. This seems high for me (still new to this but understand there's several factors involved). I also check out the transaction fee involved. For my withdrawal it was 0.0009 BTC. Slightly lower than what I'd expect, however when I looked at the overall transaction fee for the 46.3705 BTC transferred (of mine is only 0.2 BTC), it equates to less than 0.0001. No wonder it is taking so long!!!
DO not use this if you plan on making withdrawals from the site. They are happy to take your money, but with the constant site crashes and the lack of support I woul stay well clear.

I've been waiting to receive my withdrawal for 49 hours now... And it still is not confirmed because they paid almost nothing in fees and that's why miners won't mine it (they charged me 15 dollars for the transaction by the way). STAY AWAY FROM HitBTC it's SCAM.

Every exhange is better than this.Withdraws dont work and a lot of hidden fees and wallets are not working.I cant not withdraw my XRP.Nice Scam!

horrible I just got 28 dollars jus disappear out my account i cant make where it went ? i sent emails and still 12 hours later im stuck...i knew something was funny when i went looking for ,withdrawal buttons and tabs and i cant find them for some funny reason...how and where to withdraw they don make it easy....be very careful.....and even very funny why are you fixing trading amounts to any amount divisible by 100 .....? scammers be aware ...dont go there ....you got your money ...take it out ....im jus waiting to get some trades pan out and im moving my stuff out ... if thats possible ....they shouldn be let to get away with this ...they are making cryptocurrency look bad and working against all the principles that cryptocurrency is about .....we mus band up....and bash these scamming hoes ...i hope they get hacked /....

Scammers use robots to make fake volume, give you a fake tx Id and don’t send you your funds unless they decide it’s in their best interest to. They offer all the new and exciting things but don’t follow through. 100% scam.

Without warning they locked several wallets! A lot people losing money and they dont do anything! They twitter the whole day , But helping? or reply mails? Nah.. And the worst thing, my acount is locked now and the backup code isnt working. Dont make the same mistake, stay away till they fix their shizzle!

They delisted CAPP (cappasity) a Virtual Reality Augmented Reality product for your e-business. This with no prior warning. They appear to have been upset because they received criticism. If you wanted a major red flag, you got one. I withdrew my CAPP but guess what.. They are blocking it and not approving the withdraw.. Move your money out of there before it is too late!

I was trading on hitbtc for several months, however since christmas I' m not able to move several funds from my main account to either my trading account or withdraw them for more than four days now (which on the crypotomarket is a long time!) did cost me several thousands of dollars, if it is not a total loss - beware of hitbtc, has turned into a supposed scam!

This exchange is big scamm freezes any account any time. moving our funds. doing what they want with our funds. Dont register here just becouse there many coins. that coins may disappear one day like a capp coin . or block your acc and take funds because of buy one of them like a Amm. Now i have to move another exchange. but cant withdraw my funds. Always stuck in it. first ripple , than capp. Ltc moving time is a days when its must not be too much. 1 star is too many for hitbtc. good luck to all costumers

HitBTC plainly states on their Fees and Limits page, "There are no fees for deposits." I deposited a small amount of BTC (0.0066555) on their exchange last night and they charged me a 0.0003 BTC deposit fee which currently comes out to about $4.25 USD. Percentage wise they charged me a 4% deposit fee. I then attempted to trade my balance of BTC for DGB and they would only allow me to trade in 100 coin lots. No amounts like 1625, 1650, 1675 etc. Only 1100, 1200, 1300 etc. This would of course leave fractional amounts of unused BTC or other currencies sitting in people's accounts that are too small to withdraw so I'm sure a lot of people get out of Dodge and leave small amounts of cryptos sitting in their accounts that HitBTC eventually confiscates. Plainly HitBTC are liars, they say no deposit fees then they charge me a 4% deposit fee. I've opened a case about this with them but have heard nothing nor have I been refunded my 0.0003 BTC. I've made one deposit with them and that will be my last. This is just my opinion, I've had good experience with Cryptopia and they offer many alt-coins for trading. The good news is they only charge you in fees what they say they will charge you.
