Can’t say anything dissatisfying about hitbtc. It’s a good exchange just like the rest I’ve ever used. Pleasant interface and chat-box give hitbtc some extra admiration from me. When not trading, you can spend some time chatting with community and sometimes even learn useful info.

Hitbtc is the worst exchange ever. They steal your money siting in a remote corner , no one will ever touches them. My 2FA was active , no email authorization sent to me and one day i discovered my 0.5BTC was wiped out. I lost 4200 USD. No response from Hitbtc for days despite multiple request tickets.They keep on stealing here and there. Please , Please do not trade on HitBTC

My opinion about Hitbtc : I think i got scammed by hitbtc and they will never say the truth. I spoke with so many people who have find their account empty no money and there had no withdrawal e-mail and 2FA was activated already. It's maddening the number of complaints that are increasing day by day, it shows the seriousness of this exchange.
In conclusion,
I can assure you that my health has deteriorated because of them. I could not sleep anymore, I only thought about that. I wanted to get my money back as soon as possible.
Customer service is Bad, there are people waiting for a reply for 2 months for their ticket. No communication. Not serious at all for a "big" exchange like you.
Last tip: be careful with this exchange. I regret very much having used this exchange (used just for airdrop and hardfork)

I've been trading here already for several months. Although I have a positive impression of this exchange, a couple of times the fees for withdrawal of funds were pretty big, but this was my fault. All in all, I didn't find other problems. I think hitbtc will suit those who take both short and long positions.

First I would like, as many others, to recommend anyone why is reading this to keep your funds safe and stay away. I have had hitbtc accounts for many years now, through this time I experienced multiple issues like -
funds go missing, funds go missing during pump after buying high and reappearing only after the pump was over, locked funds, issues with transactions and things that could be considered minor but they are not.
last year my family member joined hitbtc and despite my warning deposited large sums on the exchange,
for the last few months I though I might be wrong as my family member enjoyed trading despite the minor issues i mentioned before the were experienced as well.
Long story short one Friday while looking at the account balance dropped to 60$ from over 5000$,
it happened within seconds> hitbtc was contacted the moment it happened> it took them a week to reply saying all funds are there> we replied with no they are not> after a week or more they said that the account was illegitimately accessed and requesting more information provided immediately> some weeks passed and after tickets and complaints they wrote back asking for additional information that was provided> month later after nagging they wrote back that the account was compromised its a hard time for trading that its basically our problem and we should take the losses.
2fa was enabled no links were clicked there are no signs for hacked computer and no other accounts were affected.
I have met and read others online with exactly the same issue that got the same response.
They are either stealing customer funds or are unable to provide security that an operation of that kind requires. reading back things like this have been happening since day one it looks like they want both to steal and appear as a solid reliable exchange.

have purchased tokens worth 2000$ from Hitbtc ,but when I tried to withdraw the tokens they have been frozen by the exchange,so basically I lost 2000$:(((I love bitcoin and crypto but after what has happen to me I will never use an exchange again,this has been a one nightmare!!!

I can only say that the site is modern and keeps pace with the times. Now they are very seriously monitoring the protection, so there are no break-ins. I don't even use a wallet, I keep all my money in the exchange.

Agreed with those that say the site has more coins to trade, but that is of little value if you can't move, trade, or exchange the coins.Like other reviewers I find their customer service pathetic if it exists at all.
I made my first purchase and moved them to my private wallet without issue. My 2nd and last purchase I have been unable to do anything with the XDN, and in a month time, no response from them.

If we argue objectively, then there are a lot of things in this exchange that needs to be further improved. However, even at the moment it's quite a reliable exchange and I think it will suit to most of the traders.

A week has passed since I switched to hitbtc. The transaction speed is quite large, the commission for withdrawing funds is much less than on other exchanges that I used. In general, I like it. Let's see what happens next!

HitBTC are either liars or crooks, and maybe both. They've had Siacoin 'technical maintenance' going on for about a month and a half now. They claimed they were working on a new wallet but there isn't one so far. They closed all support tickets even though the matter is not resolved. They will not commit to a timeframe for completion of this supposed maintenance, but they did siphon off a lot of SC into their account address without crediting it to its rightful owners. If you have SC with then, check your support tickets and reopen them if they've been closed! Keep on them about this. If they actually do come through, I'll post another review saying that.
