Coinbase sucks This happened when i fist joined They double charged my making a double transaction I thought i got it fixed. Kinda set it and let it roll Now when in trying to trade on it im restricted! Cant buy /sell ofmr even withdraw my own money Contacted them several times all they can do is make a "ticket" for it . And that goes nowhere .this platform is GARBAGE!! Save ur $ and the hassle of getting it back

They have horrible customer support. The phone team is very polite but cant do anything to help you. I have been waiting for a month now to resolve a simple issue involving my 2nd verification email. But i have been told 3-4 times now that a specialist will reach out to me and Nothing - Horrible - Use other sites if u can.

10 days ago Coinbase double-paid a withdrawal to my bank. Entirely their fault and with no abnormal actions by me to trigger the double payment. They undertook to request a reversal from my bank and in the meantime said I could buy and sell but not cash out funds.My bank has no record of any such request. I have a notice on my account saying I cannot even buy or sell. 4 emails to support elicit only boilerplate standard responses. My latest email now received this response: "In an effort to respond more rapidly to support requests, direct emails to this address are no longer enabled."
What a total joke. As I have only EU1 in the account, I am not going to continue a relationship with such an unprofessional organisation. I strongly advise others to read reviews and beware.

Funny to read all the negative comments here. I guess all companies make mistakes, and also any customers need to read fine print or whatever. I've been Coinbase's customer since 2014 and have had no issues whatsoever. Very happy with their Vault service. Successfully deposited, sold, bought and withdrew crypto and USD.Anyway, just wanted to chime in and add some positive words here.

I paid for my Bitcoin for a purchase over a week ago. I used my bank account, because it stated that my funds would be available immediately. As soon as the purchase was confirmed ( I have bank documents to prove all this), I was then told I couldn't access my coin for a week. My coin in my wallet was finally accessible, only to find out I had lost money, before I could even access my coin in my wallet. I tried to send the remainder of my coin, so I could just be done with the whole thing. It then will not let me send the coin. I have tried to call, and email, with no luck. Until I threatened to get my bank, and some others involved. When someone then emailed me back, I was told that they would work on the problem. Several hours later,no help, and still can't send my Bitcoin. This all seems like a big scam!! But luckily I keep every email, and bank statement.

I have been waiting for my my funds to transfer from an old account for 6 months now. I had purchased a new phone and did not have access to my 2 step verification. They had me create a new accoutn with my new phone number and get verified which I had done 6 months ago. I still have not had my transfer to that account. Everytime I call I get new excuses.

Coinbase is basically stealing $590.00 of my money. I deposited the money from my checking account. All transactions have cleared my checking account and been removed from my checking balance for over a week. However, I cannot access the funds in Coinbase and am told I will not be able to access them for another 2 months. This is basically robbery. I have filed complaints with The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau with the Better Business Bureau. I've been given the run around about policies, procedures, etc. - all just a bunch of deception. The only acceptable resolution to this is to either make my funds available to me or allow me to close my account and transfer my funds. For all those considering doing "business" with Coinbase, I strongly advise against it.case #: 4357395

I made a couple of purchases of bitcoin through Coinbase's buy/sell feature and deposited to my Coinbase bitcoin wallet. My coinbase bitcoin wallet available balance reflects the amount of the deposits, however, I am unable to do anything with them. Initially Coinbase support told me that they just had to make sure the transactions cleared my bank. According to my bank the transactions have cleared. However, I am still unable to access my Coinbase bitcoin wallet for sending my bitcoin. Furthermore, now Bitcoin support is telling me it will 57 days before I will be able to do anything with the bitcoin in my wallet. They won't give me a reason other then they need to wait until the transactions have cleared my bank. When I phone them and tell them (again) that the transactions have cleared my bank they say there's nothing they can do - unacceptable. When I email them and tell them the transactions have cleared my bank with pictures showing proof of the cleared transactions, I get no reply from them. I've tried to close my account and have all funds transferred to a different wallet provider, however, Coinbase will not let me to this either. I basically consider them as having stole my money for 57 days or longer if they so choose. I wish I had researched them better before I decided to do "business" with them.

Coinbase sucks. For some reason coinbase locked my buying ability. I contacted customer service numerous times to help me fix the problem, after a month and a half later, they still have resolve the problem. Customer service always response "We will escalate your ticket for resolution." I understand they take security serous, but there should be a quicker way to resolve customer problems.

600.00 spent on bitcoin litecoin etc. Then when I'm ready to do a timely buy/sell they throw an id verify at me so I can't. Why not do that at sign-up. Total dicks. No customer service,no direction on site,looks like it was pasted together by some 3rd graders. Probably break even in 3-5 days then i'm getting my money out of that s*&^^hole.
