UpdateBitPay is an automated payment processing system for the bitcoin currency. It enables online merchants to accept bitcoins, as a form of payment, just as easily they accept payments from credit cards, debit cards, or Paypal. My previous review was not accurate. I said that BCH is Bitcoin, when in fact, BCH is a scam. I was duped into thinking that BCH was legit but have had a lot of money stolen from my wallet since using BCH. I am sorry for advising that BCH is the way to go when in fact, it is not under investigation and truly a scam

Tried Bitpay on my companies website to accept BTC. Had one test transaction for $20 to make sure the process went smoothly. When I did not receive the funds in my wallet, I inquired as to what was going on, for which Bitpay said that the amount did not reach the payout threshold. I decided to create a refund on my website but again, Bitpay refused to refund because the amount hadn't been settled - due to it not reaching their payout threshold. I then requested that my account be closed and all unsettled funds be settled and deposited into the wallet associated with the account. I just received notification that my account has been closed, but no payments to my wallet so I can only assume that Bitpay chose to keep my money. I am filing a complaint with the FCC and warn others not to deal with this company.

Are these reviews based on using BTC? If so, no wonder you problems. BCH is the only way to go from here on out. BCH is bitcoin.

People need to be warned about the incompetence of Bitpay support!!! It is outrageous!! I lost about $2000 due to Bitpay incompetence!!! Their incompetence is truly astounding!!! Especially their support person Dana! I am trying to get someone competent to take over my ticket. I lost around $2000 due to astounding Bitpay incompetence.

Id give negative stars if i could. I started with $70 by the time i loaded the funds to the pre paid visa card i had $17 left after fees. Never again. Tell all my friends family and ppl i advise to stay away from this scam.

Reason for this Bad Review:
For many transactions, BitPay will refuse to send the funds to the destination (the merchant), for whatever reason. And, instead of sending the Bitcoin immediately back to the sender, BitPay will keep possession of the funds for an inexcusably long time (days or weeks). During this time, the rightful owner of the funds (the sender) is disconnected from their money while also carrying the currency risk against their will.

What a rip off. It tells me that the payment is too low for the current market? But when I transferred my miney to bitpay it worked perfectly? Thank god I only transferred 20 dollars. So guys this is a rip off don't fall for it.

Felling this one is a scam. Don't answer social media questions.. I paid the fee for the visa requested and tells me the payment has expired. Even though a week later and after 256 confirmations - still nothing. Toatal crap. Avoid.

It has scammed me out of my bitcoins, it creates invoice but time limit is only 15 minutes, once that expires and confirmation is not there, it will keep the bitcoins and make false promises look beloJeremie (BitPay Support Team)

As I mentioned earlier, we are unable to process a refund until the transaction is on the Bitcoin blockchain. The miner fee might have been too low and is now in the queue. There is nothing that BitPay can do to make this go any faster. Once it is in on the Bitcoin blockchain, we will be able to process the refund.
