I traded on BTC-e many years without problems. But today my account was banned and nobody response to my emails and supports tickets. I hope that everything is OK with BTC...

they have blocked all my withdrawals..i was one of the early starters, and have lost every penny i have invested in bitcoins, first was mt goxed now this btce. i am left with 0 bitcoins.. becareful bitcoin users the moment u use the trust factor instead of ur brain, u will be scammed in this bitcoin jungle..

I've used them since 2013. Never lost any coins because of a hacking or bad exchange practice. Never had an phishing emails as stated below. They've been around forever and have a loyal user base and top10 exchange volume, top 3 for litecoin volume. They have the MT4 forex trading platform integrated into their API and I know of no other spot broker that offers this. On the MT4 platform occasionally you will get "off quotes" error during times of illiquidity but its happening less and less as the volume has grown. Support's english is mediocre and not the best. Thats the worse I can say about them, but the fact that they'd been around long enough to make them one of the oldest exchanged in bitcoin that speaks for itself.

I use a dedicated email address for each service I have an account with, likewise with btc-e.com. They are the only ones who could know this address. Recently I started receiving fishing emails on this address, trying to convince me to give my blockchain.org account credentials.
So either:
1) btc-e.com was hacked and they didn't tell me (or anyone else) about it;
2) they sell user email addresses to spammers;
3) they're responsible for these messages themselves.
Anyway, I've tried communicating with their "support" team for over a week now, and all I get is evasive answers and complete BS.
My advice: If security is important to you stay away from this one :)

They say my account is suspended and I should contact support. When I contact support they never respond. They have stolen all my coins i.e they are criminals. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I am concerned I won't get my money out of BTC-e after reading posts here of people who described problems similar to what I am experiencing. I transferred Bitcoin into BTC-e from coinbase and then bought litecoin; then I sold the litecoin and now they are giving me trouble about withdrawing the money and not allowing wire transfers to us banks. If I bought Bitcoin with the U.S. dollars in my BTC-e would it help as far as being able to transfer Bitcoin back to coinbase? I am afraid that BTC-e might not allow any transfer to go through and then lock my account. I am also hoping coinbase can request the funds. Any advice?

update 16.03.2017: solved. after i made this public and posted it on more then 20 websites who were on top of google. after "balthazar" received a -trustpoint at bitcointalk.org and went super angry. after threatening to sue them - they finally gave up. i got my bitcoins now :) thank you very much for your help. i hope bitcoin exchanges will have more respect of their customers in the future. https://gyazo.com/d393cbdaabf835168ca605ce6d413c1c

Hello everyone,btc-e banned me from withdrawing saying: "contact support"
so i contacted the support and this is the e-mail traffic that happened:

so their agenda was like this:
1. ban a random user from withdrawing
2. when he mails you, ask for random documents
3. don´t respond to e-mail-answers [force the customer to create a new ticket everytime (i have cut out some of my e-mail answers to make the E-mail traffic more fluently)]
4.when you run out of questions for documents IGNORE the customer (let him suspended)
this makes it 100% clear that btc-e support is a scam.

Sent BTC to trade for DSH and have waited already past 20 minutes with no response. Other exchanges credit my account in less than 10 minutes every time. Try sending to Blockchain.info and the credit occurs in seconds. BTC-e has become a total scam. AVOID!!

Still locked out of my BTC-e account. Six weeks of no access because of expired password. I get no email with new password or support from BTC-e. I have tried other avenues for support and basically there are none. No response and no access means my coins are gone. I am totally at BTC-e mercy and getting radio silence.

theft by lockout.BTC-e has locked me out by not sending any emails for trouble tickets, account updates, password changes, etc.
Without email contact I cannot log in once they said my password was expired.

Locked out due to expired email. I have been unable to access my account because my password is "expired". I do not get the emails they say they will send with links to create new password. I do not get emails after trouble tickets. I have not gotten any emails from BTC-e for a very long time. I am completely locked out and have no recourse as there is never a trouble ticket response.

For a few weeks i have tried to withdraw USD to my paypal account...never getting a confirmation email to complete the process. I then bought BTC, and have tried to send some of it to my wallet, again, no confirmation email. using the same email i've always had with them, also opened a support ticket, and have received no response.Anyone else having this kind of issue right now?
