update: they finally released my transfer after processing for a week, with no warning or explanation (i was already verified). so i would say that it's NOT a scam. still not a service i plan to use again though, due to the long sending delay and poor customer service

Do not use xapo once you bought Bitcoin they will not allow you to send anywhere. And support team will not reply. Trust me you will loose your hard earned money. I lost 3000 USD

Account opening and regulatory identification (Switzerland) takes a couple of days. Transfer of funds to € wallet was faultless and cheap - if slow via SEPA. Bitcoin purchase with available funds (€) then simple and fast.Bitcoin transfer from another wallet worked as expected and was nearly instantaneous. Verification delays in the chain (6 required) not yet checked and documented, as I encountered no problem.

Zero total costume service! More than 1 month for they see my doccuments! And they kidding me, say to me 2 times different operators my account is activate but not! OHH and they delete your emails every single time no answer your like 10 days and when they do only saying don t have support in weekend but maybe is because the weekend from xapo workers is 10 days i don t know...

SCAM! yes it is, they are filling their pockets and they are waiting to be overloaded to run away, the support of this "company"... sorry, there is no support on there, and if you want to get more annoyed or maybe have fun just send a message by facebook and see what their personal assistant (siri) says to solve your problems.... I don't understand how the can have so much and so good publicity if their services are so shitty, well, I loose my money and I just let you know that, you can use coinomi by example or other multiwallets and you will be the only owners of your btc, this really is our fault for trusting somebody to take care of our money so please be aware of xapo.

Awful!. They lost my money and don´t want to give me a solution. I made a transaction that was timed out cancelled and neither the merchant nor Xapo have the money. Where is it?. CoinPayment says there was no transaction so there is nothing to claim and I should talk to my wallet (Xapo). Nobody wants to tell me. If someone can help me...

Aggghhhh! Got my Account with them a couple of Weeks ago. Today was the first time I tried to use it. Deposited Money into my GBP Wallet via Neteller - no problem! A few Hours later I wanted to transfer some of it to my BTC Wallet and this is where things start to unravel. When you recce the Site and click various things just to see how things work there are things that don't appear until you start actually using Money. One of these was the SMS Verification for an internal Transfer. This might sound reasonable except a text message can take anything up to a few Hours to arrive - so you can't complete the Transfer until it does. Eventually, after being told I had made too many attempts and had to wait a few Minutes I tried to continue only to be told about an "Unknown Error". So I cancelled the Transaction only to find the amount I tried to transfer had been removed from my GBP Wallet - BUT HADN'T appeared in my BTC Wallet. This means that it has disappeared somewhere in their System.I think the whole Process in is unnecessarily complex and after you've logged in with your User Name, Password and PIN that should be it. Not have to rely on very slow SMS and other Barriers so you can continue with what is sold to us as a simple Process. I have a Blockchain Account because they accept Payments to buy Bitcoin with a Debit Card - only to be told that Coinify don't accept the most widely used Debit Card in Britain (Visa). As for some of the others. Hmmm, Ever tried verification with some? One told me the Resolution of my Passport wasn't good enough, when Employers, Banks and Social Security keep Black and White Copies quite normally, another tried activating my Computers Webcam for a Photo.
If you have a Problem with your Bank Account you can Phone them and get it resolved there and then. These People can only be contacted via Email taking Hours, no Phone Number, no live Chat. I don't think that's acceptable and People should remind them whose Money it is in the first place!

Removing all my BTC from here for their inability to answer ANY support questions on any of the many many many ways I've tried to contact them. Absolutely 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE. Withdrawing to FIAT and loading up my REVOLUT card instead.

I would advise anyone to avoid doing business with XAPO. I applied and was denied without any explanation. They require you to provide them with your social security number, a copy of your driver's license AND a copy of your passport, only to deny you with a single sentence: "Upon further review, your application has been denied."This is a 2 year old company in Europe obtaining your personal information. If you know anything about identity theft then you will treat this company like they are 10 miles of bad road.
Do yourself a favor, Don't mess with XAPO.
