I joined the ICO of Storj expecting an advantage over the people who buy it at the exchange afterwards. This seemed logical since I was part of the group that supported their ability to develop.I didn't really expect things to go wrong until I had my Storj on the exchange. I invested 1 bitcoin and my storj now has a value of 0.5 Bitcoin. Even though the price is 3 cent higher than their starting price.
It seems they took my Bitcoin and set the price they would release in Fiat (USD) 50 cents. Everything is measured in BTC on exchanges so this makes very little sense.
So they took my BTC and the enormous increase in value of BTC in the meantime kept it for themselves and stayed true to the value nomination they gave storj before this rise took place.
So they received an enormous amount of BTC that by now is worth 3 times as much and decided to keep the value of storj low by keeping it at fiat value.
Not only did I not get rewarded fro supporting them in their developing stage, I actually lost half my investment while their coin increased in value.
