About 30 minutes ago it tried exchanging BTC into another currency and I am still waiting for the exchange to happen. There was a heavy fee so I only exchanged about 30 dollars worth. Seeing other reviews on here, I feel like the transaction might fail. I will update in an hour or so to see what will happen but right now nothing is coming from it.

Des voleurs. A éviter à tout prix. J'ai voulu acheter des ETH en BTC et malgré le fait que la transaction soit passée, les ETH n'ont jamais été reçu.Evidemment, Shapeshift va vous faire patienter en argumentant la lenteur et la congestion du réseau. La congestion c'est quelques heures pas quelques jours. Bref, malgré mes multiples relances, je n'ai jamais reçu de réponse.

tempted to just call their "service" a scam as they only return a partial amount of your money if anything goes wrong like a timeout. stay away from them unless you're willing to lose a substantial amount of coin and simply getting a minor refund.

Sad to see that even with precise option rate from within exodus shapeshift begun to broke the precise rate, especially when prices fluctuate faster....if they lower the comissions to max 1 or 1.5 percent will use it but like what is now, with comissons between 3 and 10 percent...is a ripp off using shapeshift these days.Like i said even the precise option of exchange rate which is used by exodus wallet , its not anymore respected, they give you less coins than you established by that precise option now, so with these comissions is a ripp off using shapeshift.
At least they use a max comission of lets say 1.5 percent even on exchanges is a 0.5 percent comission.
but no, they take from you between 3 and 10 percent
saying ahh we dont take comissions, we use the exchange rate given by markets,thats a lie, to that exchange rate given by markets they add at least 2 or 3 percent.

I am beyond thrilled with their customer service. I have used them frequently and never had a problem, however this last time, I made a critical user error that made me think I had lost a good chunk of money. It was my fault, not theirs, and yet they found it and refunded it within 3 days. I thought the money was gone for good. I don't invest more than I'm willing to lose, but I'd rather not just throw it away either. I went to bed thinking it was gone and I was ok with it, but sent them a work ticket anyways. Very pleasant surprise to get it refunded back to me. Very awesome customer service!

I used their services a few times and it was ok. There was slow down around bitcoin segwit2x fork. However I knew this and avoided any SHA-256 alg exchanges. My $970 was exchanged in the exodus wallet using shapeshift and has since disappeared. They admit the mistake but have not refunded, saying opening new tickets will put me to the back of the queue. I am today seeking legal advice. I feel sorry for the staff that work there because since this his happened to me I have researched this business, and it isn't 1 or 2 people that this is frequently happening to, it is 1000's across all platforms.

Shapeshift stole $190 of my money. I sent a transaction with the tag and address, and they claim I forgot to send the tag and my payment got lost, but I saved the transaction and I made copies over everything with screenshots and I sent them proof the tag was in there. They keep giving me the runaround saying the have to have the TXID to find my payment and give me a refund. They are theives. Don't let them steal from you. I am contacting the SEC and any other agency I can and you should too if you lost money.

I am totally disgusted with Shapeshift at this point. I used them to swap $3700 worth of Vericoin for BTC back on Oct 16th, they said "their system didn't pick it up" and i've been getting nothing but a run around from several of the customer service people since then. First they said they queued the VRC refund, 2 days later nothing, they said that server was down for maintenance and they could refund in BTC. I gave them that address, they confirmed it was queued to be sent, 2 days later nothing again. "They were getting errors" trying to send to that address so I gave them another BTC address. Days later nothing again and now getting no response on my ticket. Getting a new excuse each time. Never had an issue with them in the past but i'm beginning to see indications of the Cryptsy situation. I'd stay clear of using Shapeshift for any large amounts. If I could select a negative star rating I would.

Shapeshift is absolutely dreadful. I converted bitcoin to waves on the first occasion and it worked fine. On the second occasion they claimed the Bitcoin was sent to a BCH address...don't ask me how that could have happened. But, OK, tried them a third time, also Bitcoin to Waves, made absolutely certain of the transaction. Would you believe that they again had the audacity to tell me I had sent my Bitcoin to a BCH address and I would need to have 50 Euros deducted from the amount sent. Since the amount sent was less than 50 Euros nothing would be refunded. This site is beginning to look like a completed scam. There is no way I could have sent Bitcoin to a BCH address. The two logos are not even near each other on their chart. Be very, very careful of these people.

3 stars cuz the fee was a little excessive (.001btc)but just transferred 1.57 LTC to .01~BTC, quick and easy, didn't have to sign up for anything, used the quick transfer.
they did what they promised me, not much more you can ask for.

1 Star is too much to use as a rating to describe how poor their customer service is. Used them to participate in a recent ICO. Not only did ShapeShift fail to forward the funds but they have also failed to refund my hard earned ETH. This is despite following up with 8 mails.
