starstarstarstarstar Absolute Rip-offs - zero stars

I tried to withdraw my bitcoins and the said I had a different IP address and suspended my account. They demanded I prove who I was and rejected everything I sent them with non-nonsensical responses. I've been trying now for 2 weeks to get them to un-suspend my account with no luck - they do not want to help. The company Mayzus Financial Services also run a stockbroking exchange with very similar complaints of people being ripped off and unable to withdraw their money.
I took the advice of the post below and reported them the the London Metropolitan Police, and the department dealing with it is www.actionfraud.police.uk. If enough people complain hopefully something will come of this.

starstarstarstarstar i will give zero star, here is why: my account didn't get hack, after sometime when i click on the chat box on btc-e. since then my acct have authorized login in by someone, that much be btc-e cracker. I have 2fa enable all time, it require password to login in. And i email btc-e and no respond at all, after a month keep email them. finallly said will refund my account, but the btc-e transfter to a new account. I dont understand why not just send back to my own account. that time my account is suspended, so btc-e said wait two weeks i will get my balance back. I was happy at that time hoping will get my money back. after two weeks and two days, i check the new account set up by myself. is no money inside, then i email the btc-e support, these people don't respond again, after like one week. got email said sent to someone's account, btc-e said well you got hack or whatever, that's your problem period. ************ so the scammer is the btc-e, since i have 2fa enable already. I am frustrated lost over 50btc bitcoins. fucking btc-e retard sent my $$to his own wallet. i am just sad, by hongsook . * run from these fuckers full of shit, not worth risk your money. 347789090*

starstarstarstarstar I agree with previous posts : BTC-e is a scam. they practice "selective scamming", freezing accounts here and there for various reasons.

The real owner of BTC-e is MAYZUS FINANCIAL SERVICES Limited in London. The owner of MFS is Mr Mayzus, a politician from Kaliningrad allegedly linked to the russian mob. They have been sentenced by the Cyprus Financial authorities for Money Laundering in March 2016.

When you transfer funds to BTC-e, you transfer to Mayzus Financial Services. The "always efficient llc" is just in "communication" and they are just a decoy to protect Mayzus.

If you have any problem with BTC-e or Mayzus Financial services please report :

http://www.met.police.uk/fraudalert/

Several other reports have been made and the London Metropolitan police will be strongly interested.

starstarstarstarstar The folks behind this company appear to be Seychelles based. ALWAYS EFFICIENT LLP
Company number OC394172 registered to Evaline Sophie JOUBERT and Sandra Gina ESPARON though both claim UK residence addresses. The domain name is hidden behind a New Zealand address.

Anyone followed up on them?

starstarstarstarstar I am not sure this site a scam per se, but certainly cannot be trusted with your money. I was able to transfer bitcoin out but have so far "lost" USD100 somewhere between BTC and another account. The support, which appears to be a single person, gives cryptic answers from time to time saying things like "check your bank account" but provides no transfer number to help the bank locate it.

My advice, stay away with your money and trade somewhere else.

starstarstarstarstar Some guy hit me up on twitter talking about this site and honestly it didnt make sense why someone would deposit 1-5 btc to get in on pump and dump coin when they can follow the buzz get in on an ICO and just have at it. He then said well if the group is too big profits would be lowered. Again this makes no sense since it's about a group buying up coins at a specific time and the coins are priced at a certain rare. If there are millions of coins in supply rhen each person depending on what they buy can profit based on what they put in. Profits sounded loaded as in someone is trying to make more money off of what btc they actually get vs just being paid for the success full rise of a coin.

Once I saw these reviews I knew something was off.

Asked they guy why was he in bed with such a scamming site. So many negative reviews and he's still promoting? Unreal.

Anyways glad I found this site and all of these horrible reviews of this scam.

starstarstarstarstar Either the security is crap or they flat out steal your coins. I noticed a few days ago my account (worth 1btc) got emptied, I didn't receive any notification (or confirmation!) emails about it. I checked my email access logs and confirmed that account was safe.

What gives??

The BTC-E insider hacker was able to get into my email assocaited with my btc-e account and changed my security questions and backup email for that account. He then hacked into my btc-e account transfer all my fund of 200BTC BTC to own pocket. And never reply back.

starstarstarstarstar Great exchange, simple trading platform, what more could you want?
Also I sent in a support ticket and they replied within hours. I don't understand why people have such negative reviews? btc-e has been around since 2011 and has had no problems.

starstarstarstarstar I sent two SEPA transfers. Each time there is a problem. For this second time, I did not write the proper "transfer details" and the support said they could not transfer my funds since they did not have it. I contacted banks and Mayzus replied they transfered the funds to btc-e. I wrote to the support that I had proof of funds in their possession and I started a fraud alert. Suddenly my funds appeared, however they are blocked for one month. To unlock I have sent my personal information for the 4th time now.
I have theorically my funds, however Btc-e tries everytime to keep the funds. They are trying to steal people who would not care enough for their funds. If you can find a more trustful platform go there, btc-e is not recommended.

starstarstarstarstar Be afraid. Btc-e will refuse to pay out your money. They make you jump through many hoops for a withdrawal. You wait over a day for each reply from support. Then when it gets to the point they cannot delay you any longer they flat out refuse to send your money.

NO excuse, no reason. They just flat out refuse.

SCAM. BEWARE!

starstarstarstarstar one person operated website, what he did is fool your account. First he will explorer with account have money inside, then created fake tackets on your account. To make believe is hacker or what ever, then he will scam you from here, he will ask you to created a new account, and ask you to wait like 2 weeks. your money now is transfer to his wallet NEVER your wallet. then he will made shit up like hacker did that, can't refund sorry, that's your problem. he also blame you trade on his site and turn him in billionire. 2fa is a joke too, not safe at all.

starstarstarstarstar I randomly had a successful login attempt made to my account even though I used a very long-secure password and never shared it outside my login.

I can only assume these people sell passwords to hackers, and let them hack your account.

When you open a ticket with them, they'll blame it on you not using 2FA as a scapegoat to what they're really doing, A strong password that is never shared outside of a website should never be compromised, 2FA or not.

These people are up to some really shady things.
