The service is not bad. My verification got denied the first time for some stupid reason, but was accepted the second time. Money gets to my account in a day or two and trading is cheap. I can't complain really.

I got locked out of my Bitstamp account, I posted on Twitter and they responded within 2 hours and helped me out! I was seriously suprised how fast that was. Thumbs up for Bitstamp!

Terrible scam company.Charged my credit card $500 3 times and I received nothing.
They will not help resolve it..
Some bitch called Julia just responded talk to your bank about it.

A week ago I made a deposit like I have often done before. Instead of a credited deposit I got a "Account Termination Notice" a few days later without any reason (due to internal policies).They sent me back my balance and the deposit in two different transactions and deducted 25€ from both for normal SEPA transactions which are actually free.
So it looks like they wait until the people deposit who they want to terminate so that they can send multiple transactions and keep the big fees.
Luckily I didn't have crypto on the exchange because then they would have sold it or tell you they did and send you some cash.
I would advise anyone to remove their funds from bitstamp as fast as possible and never use it again and of course to not make a new account. Totally not trustworthy.

Bitstamp are always too busy and therefore cannot transfer your funds to your trading account . Meanwhile the bastards are amassing huge amounts of money that they are using. It is the same as an interest free loan.I had my bank do a trace on my funds and was lucky to get my money back after two months. Steer away from anything that sounds Russian or Cypriot.......they are professional thugs. And before you place funds with anybody check out the scams listed on the internet.

Why are negative stars not an option? For a once promising company, they have made a hash of things to say the least. Hundreds of BCH uncredited when they had our BTC....no feedback from them, no response....What is one's recourse? Join a class action perhaps? Bitstamp class action...search that without the spaces.

scam scam..they will wait you make a deposit and block you .i made a deposit of 80000, and this guys refused to deposit it in my account.its been 3 months now since i made the deposit.support ignore my messages on facebook ..i keep on sending emails but no one seems to respond.may hell broke loose on you motherfuckers!!

Bitstamp can't manage their systems, and as a result keep your money. My deposit address changed every hour or so, resulting in my deposit disappearing as suddenly my deposit address was different to where I deposited. Instead I received someone else's deposit. Support detected and mentioned this issue, and the solution was just to empty the account and leave me without my deposited amount. And do it's been for the last 2 months, still haven't seen my money nor any response they are sending it to me.

Bitstamp just terminated my account completely without reason. I've been a verified customer since 2013. I believe I'll lose my latest deposit as well as anything I had at the exchange. WARNING, something does not feel right about Bitstamp as of now. No answer to e-mails, phone number is not working etc. Stay away from Bitstamp until we know what's going on...

This is the worst exchange. After you register, they keep wasting your time with KYC/AML questions which are by far the most invasive questions ever, not only compared to other exhcnages, but even to some banks. This is not only done on your first registration, they keep coming back aftwerwards with questions and questions and questions. And I didn't even have that much activity on my account, nor was there any shady transfers. If you value your time and want to be sure that your money will be safe, stay away from this exchange.

I recently contacted Bitstamp as i noticed that there isa CCJ registered against there company but there not
very responsive so i might ask the papers for there opinion
but either way this does not look very good
