Bit Trade is my go to exchange, been using them for six months. It's an easy site that's been getting some new stuff added lately. I have had one or two minor problems, but they fixed them really fast after I emailed them.

These guys are super reliable, reading previous reviews and they don't reflect my experience at all. I think they've picked up their game and I've had no issues buying on and off with them for +1 year

Very early in this process, but the onboarding was pretty easy. Probably a little better than my expectation. Felt like the process was secure and appropriate to the context. Biggest thing i'd love to see improved is around data transparency. I'd love to know (and control) more about how my data is being used, how I can change my mind etc. Think this is a great way to differentiate and give people good feels early in the process when their motivation is high.

Their new platform is rubbish. There's no ticker showing the current exchange rate over a period of time. There's no exchange rate on your dashboard, it only shows up when you go to place an order.Helpdesk is slow and seems to be non Aussie due to the strange am times I've been answered.
1% sales tax on every buy is hefty.
Orders disappear then reappear, inciting anxiety in users.
Switch to BTC Markets. Sooo much better - better platform, better exchange rates, lower fees.
No brainer really!

should have read the reviews. worst bitcoin trading company ever avoid at all costs. submitted my documents and bank details i was initially verified then my account was restricted. i emailed them waited few days, no reply, sent a ticket why i was restricted without even making a purchase again no reply. i can only imagine if you run into a problem like if your account becomes compromised who do you have to call or how long you have to wait. I have requested for my account to be closed. buy from this company at your own risk

Scammers, been waiting over 1 week for my money to arrive. I sent to coins to them to sell within 15 minutes and they taking over 1 week. Seems unfair and stupid.A VOID at all costs

Trustworthy exchange who have been around for a while. They have pretty high KYC requirements, but that's understandable cos there are lot's of bad actors in the crypto space.I've had a generally good experience with their customer service. At times a bit slow, but always really helpful. This bitcoin exchange is definitely not a scam. I think people just jump to conclusions very quickly when they get worried and money is involved.
Recently re-enabled sell orders which has come just in time for me!

The initial verification process was quick - although I used the account confirmation letter from netbank to start with rather than a statement so fixed that and it was cleared within literally a minute. I did the first small transaction to make sure all was well. It took overnight but they are also checking that I'm not fraudulent. Then I bought 0.5 coins from bit trade for my daughter's 14th birthday and all is great - I saw it in my wallet straight away and confirmed after a few blocks.Also the sell functionality on this site is re-enabled! And anyway, I can sell anywhere because they aren't holding my wallet so I don't know what those people are complaining about??
The Australian (/ global) banking system is to blame for a lot of these delays and interference. All the money laundering issues are because of them so bitcoin companies are under harder scrutiny - these guys are doing it right if the verification and fraud checks are picking up illegal activity.
If you are complaining that you can't do a first bitcoin buy at the exact price you want it then turn 'round and walk away. Do a small one at any price first, then when they've been able to prove with your bank transfer you're not dodgy, you can buy btc at the price you want (but it's mostly going up, so the earlier the sooner). Don't blame someone else for your own tardiness.

I really dont know what you guys are talking about. I've bought my Bitcoin in an easy, simple platform and the service was good. I think most of the people here are just trolling against Bit Trade or are their competitors trying to knock them down. Thanks Bit Trade, I picked up my Bitcoin at 5000 and still holding :)
