Purchased over US$ 100k in crypto over the period of one year via Coinmama. I am a fortune 100 retired top level executive with an unblemished credit, tax and legal record. Earned my wealth through decades of hard work as a top finance executive and have every single pay stub and bank account to prove it. From one day to the other, Coinmama informed me that "upon further review" it was deemed that my account with them had to be terminated!!! Furthermore, that no explanation could be provided, but they were sorry about THAT.Worse of all, I had been promoted to higher and higher levels of loyalty ratings with them, so their exorbitant fees were actually becoming a bit less ridiculous. I felt treated like a criminal, my pride in having worked for one of the greatest companies in the world for almost 3 decades thrown in the trash by some gen-z or millenial analyst. STAY AWAY - this unilateral, recourse-less, disrespectful action is completely unacceptable, can't be trusted.

Coinmama IS A NO NO. YOU CAN'T SELL YOUR BITCOIN IN THE US. I found the instructions to sell in the USA via SWIFT from your website. Now it's impossible to sell what I buy at the same platform. How ridiculous is it?They posted one thing, and then said another thing. It is irresponsible.This is the information & instructions from their website. Email from support team 'Unfortunately, we are currently not able to provide our sell services to customers using banks that are not part of the SEPA system (European Union banks). Very shady. they ask for pics of ID and personal photo of you holding ID and i was instantly declined. never had an issue with any other exchange. actually glad it happened because it brought me here upon searching as to why.. and i read several reviews of people getting their credit card info stolen and money taken out of their account. Definitely stay away. probably was good in the day but too many bad reviews of theft and shady practices now.

I purchased 14k USD of bitcoin via wire transfer yet never received the bitcoin, every code number, reference number etc was placed on the wie transfer info just for this reason. I emailed coinmama which took 2 days to get a reply, they said the funds haven't been received yet. I then went to my bank to see what was going on or what happened, my bank told me coinmama did in fact received the funds and gave me a federal reference number for me to give to coinmama so they can find the transaction. I emailed this Federal reference number to coinmama and never got an answer back. In my opinion coinmama is a scam, you will loose your money, and they will not even give you the time of day, to tell you thanks for letting us pound you in the ass.

I used coinmama and deposited at 6:45 at night and still had not received my Bitcoin by the next morning then around lunch the next day I received an order completed email which it was not I go to the coinmama site it says money refunded I’d asked for them to either release my Bitcoin or refund my money so I check my bank account and not one penny was refunded nor is there anyway to speak to a human being ever it’s all an automated computer reply any company that doesn’t have any human to speak with and can take your money without having to ever even speak to you is not worth anyone’s time to use still no $$ or Bitcoin so I’d say NEVER USE THIS SITE UNLESS YOU HAVE $$$ TO GIVE TO THEM FOR NOTHING IN RETURN

Not recommended. I tried to email support and explain the situation they were hostile and far from professional even going as far to threaten me. Avoid this company at all costs.
can't buy cardano - July 21, 2020
I signed up to buy cardano. I was able to purchase it on day one. Since then, I have not been able to buy cardano for the past 7 days. I reached out to customer service and they said there was a small glitch and it would be fixed shortly. It's been over a week and no changes, I've reached out to them again and now they are not responding. Very frustrating.

For a bitcoin exchange platform with such positive reviews, I have found the exact opposite. They have a very questionable verification in place and data storage. Though they are regulated, I pretty sure that they should be looked at closer. There are things for which they do on their approval / disapproval methods which does not add up. It borderlines a discriminatory aspect. Especially when they will not provide a reason for denial which is within the rights of the consumer. I had used a Retired Military ID, in which the denial became permanent denial, with back ups of my Veteran Status. This is where the discriminatory actions may apply. There is no other reason in which denial could be reached. Everything was done in a legitimate way, legal identification processes complied with.

GREAT Job Coinmama customer service. Ban me for life because? Why? Oh you can't tell me why! Could it be my 50 year work history? Maybe it was my 850+ LIFETIME Credit score? My REAL drivers license front and rear? Nope all it could be is they didn't like their required selfie of me holding a paper below my shoulder with Coinmama and date on it and holding your drivers license and pushing the shutter button with your nose.

They got me for 100 dollars. Used TBE multiple times in the past. But this time Coinmamma deducted 104 dollars from my account and never sent a confirmation email or deposited the bitcoin. My advice be very careful!

If I could give Coinmama zero stars I would. They really don’t care about their customers at all. All you are is a way to make money to them. If anything in your purchase process goes wrong, don’t expect any help or understanding from Coinmama. Stay away.
