At the beginning everything was fine, I kind of liked Coinbase service (maybe just because it seemed okay in comparison with the exchanges I had used before). Then they started listed shitcoins and never listened to their users who asked to add Ripple as the most popular and coin. It was obvious that Coinbase didn`t give a damn about users and their interests. Then I started my little research to find out who people behind Coinbase are to understand what they are ruled by. Everything became clear to me. That`s a huge crypto mafia gang there and it was so naive from me and other to think they ever cared about us. Those companies pursue their own interests that mainly are getting richer and not to get caught. The lists of coins added are scheduled by them because they have investments their.I didn`t want to dance to their tune and eventually closed my Coinbase account.

DO NOT USE COINBASE! One star is too many! Fraudulent company! I purchased bitcoin expecting to use it for a purchase and Coinbase didn't allow me to complete it. I lost over $70 in one day as the market continued down. I withdrew to migrate damage and incurred over $21 in Coinbase fees for purchase of bitcoins and to sell the bitcoins. So, damn near $100 lost for no reason due to their actions. A warning advising my money would not be available for use immediately would be nice... especially when they state "immediately" available for use! On top of this, I am verified and already lost some money due to them for same thing, but I figured my account was verified enough by now... nope, not the case. They fucked me again. Level 3 verified account and they still stole my money! Fuck you Coinbase! DO NOT USE COINBASE! DECEPTIVE! EVIL! FRAUD!

Incredibly slow on withdrawals. Used to be all right, but not anymore. They call themselves a wallet... but it takes minutes and sometimes hours to initiate a transaction....

I tried the platform several times, but I have no good experience with it. The withdrawals take ages. The support doesn`t help users. At the end I just got my account blocked. How can i trust them now? It is not worth to spend time with this shitty exchange

I`m dissatisfied with the service provided by Coinbase. Every time I faced some technical issues and tried to contact their support I wasn`t able to find any appropriate contacts to write to them, not saying `bout online help. My funds have been withdrawn for 4.5 months already. I just don`t want new users to be tricked by those scammers.

Used to be legit but they are failing and refusing to release customer funds. I used coin base for a long time and never had issues until this year. Now they take your money and hold on to it for weeks under the BS guide of "fraud checks". Its BS I am Anti-Money laundering certified. There is zero requirement to hold funds for weeks on a verified established account and certainly never on transactions less than 10,000 in aggregate.

Coinbase sucks I have invested in what seems all available coins. After a year I haven't a single cent. Everyday it's the same fall. Cent by cent. I think they design this system to take your money and slowly deplete your investment.

Totally disgusted with coinbase pro (gdax). Im new to trading but have learnt fast and was making a good proffit. after 2/3 months. Was not informed of the BCH hard fork and invested an additional 370gbp just before the fork to take advantage of the price if Id known they would hold stock indefinately I would have removed it. Now crypto has totally gone to shit, I sold all my zrx at 0.32 this morning (450 euro worth) and they won't let me trade with it! Its in my wallet along with my phantom BCH stock but they wont let me buy with it!!! Wanted to buy Ethereum instead. This all seems totally deliberate. They are Cu*ts, Should have trusted my instincts and stayed well away.

Coinbase have suspended BCH trading since the fork DAYS AGO. There was no email warning of this and as a result users have 0 control over their investment (if they were holding BCH) as the price plummets.This is a massive manipulation on the part of coinbase and there is absolutely no justification as other exchanges are and have been for days trading BCH.

I am so upset with coinbase the fact of how they treat their customers with Bitcoin. I called customer service and they could not give me a clear answer all of a sudden all Bitcoin transactions are pending and it could take weeks or months for them to resolve it. After a little investigation I found out that they are going through a huge transition so whatever you do do not use coinbase. I regret ever using them and I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want to just take a match to your money and burn it

SEC, FINRA, All gov't agencies should investigate!Even though one tells them there's fraud involved, they haven't gotten back to me for a week or two, thus holding me accountable for approx. $1000. Furthermore, even if currently reach customer service, they have no way to resolve it, as they pass it up to above, even though agreeing am a 100% right. Get a generic letter from co subsequently with no explanation or rudimentary understanding of events, just denying trying to figure all out, as they should apologize....stay away, as to this day, as of a year ago, can't get anyone to speak to have authority to resolve issue, let alone look into it!
No customer service!
No fraud intervention!
No interest in curbing fraud & remedy!
THEY DON'T CARE!!! SEC & FINRA & US GOV'T should definitely open multiple inquiries, as they can fix a $1000 mistake of theirs on a fraud I had alerted them to!, yet don't have the manpower to do so!

Coinbase is horrible to use!!Even with a full level 3 verification, even when using cash to purchase BTC or ETH, they hold any use of it for 7-10 days. No useful explanation from support.
My personal thoughts... they are indulging in fraudulent practice. The only reason to not allow the withdraw of your coins after paying with cash or an approved credit card transaction, is if they simply don’t have the funds. Or are imposing longggg holds so they can profit from the held funding.
Initially I thought I was doing something wrong, being a novice at crypto trading. Since exploring reviews, I’ve found many experienced traders having the same problem. So my advice would be to go elsewhere or be prepared to have your funds unavailable for quick use, which could cost you money.

I wish I would have done more research with this company, I have been fully verified money has been out of my account since 10/15/18 and yet to release my funds. Will never do business with coinbase again. Stay away at all cost!!!!!!!

To preface my review, a brief summary of my profile and usage: I have been using Coinbase 4-5 months and have traded less than $10,000 in volume to-date. I am not a professional with a large account. If you have a larger account, you may receive better service, I cannot comment on that. If I do decide to commit more money to digital currency trading, I will NOT be doing so with Coinbase.Setup and User-Interface:
Setting up an account is simple and easy - if I could rate the account-setup process and the user interface separately, they would both receive five stars. However, since the purpose of using a digital currency exchange is to - obviously - exchange digital currency, Coinbase earns one star.
The Problems:
My account has been frozen several times. Each time I contacted customer service I received inconsistent responses. They always offer some variant of "for your protection" or "for your convenience" or "for security purposes" but ultimately they offer no information and just unfreeze my account. In addition to account freezes, I have also had several unexplained holds placed on transactions that result in funds being inaccessible for up to two weeks. The site explicitly states that if you use a debit card to make a purchase the funds are available immediately to send, withdraw or sell, THIS IS FALSE. I have had MULTIPLE debit card transactions held for weeks. If you are (as I am) looking to make money by selling when the price is up and buying when the price is down I STRONGLY SUGGEST using a different Bitcoin exchange. My experience with Paxful and Coinmama have been positive, but that is only my experience and I am just one person.
I failed to exercise due diligence with Coinbase and it has caused me loss and frustration. I hope the above information is helpful in keeping others from making the same mistake as I did.

Do not use Coinbase for any reason. I have tried to contact them for 34 days and have yet to receive a reply from a single customer service representative. 6180 of our customers have accounts linked through Coinbase with us and none of them can contact Coinbase either. Their support is so poor that criminals are now impersonating Coinbase.agents to trick desperate people out of their money.A full description of this entire saga is available at the Prohashing forums, in the post titled "Coinbase does not deserve to be in business," which can be searched in Google.
Bitflyer is a much more reputable exchange and we have used them without any issues. They respond to customer support quickly.

My funds have been on hold for 32 days now. I have called and and was told my account would be escalted to a number 10.. No response. All verification has been completed, identity, bank acct, phone number etc.
My account says funds will not be available for another 24 days. That is a total of 56 days.
Called again and told the system is unavailable. So I have emailed.
No response.
