I tried the 855-750-0786 telephone number someone posted, but it doesn’t work. I also want to contact coinbase because my purchase transactions status are listed as “pending.” Coinbase’s website shows a contact email for merchants api at coinbase dot com. (This review prevents me from sharing this email address.) Has anyone tried contacting them with any success?

They have no problem taking your money, but you can't withdraw it. Problems with "verifying ID", linking accounts, excuse after excuse, NO customer service. Tried calling and on hold over an hour, and still never connected me to anyway STAY AWAY TOTAL SCAM!!!!

I give 2 stars because 1.5 is not an option. For 2 days coinbase has locked me out of my account on the bases that they need me to update my ID, however, they are to busy to review the updated ID. I can look at my account but cannot conduct any trades nor can I get my money out of Coinbase. Then, to make everything all better, in order to ask a question you have to use their chat bot, which seems to have a standard answer of " I'm sorry I can't help you with that. So, then you have to send Coinbase an email, but, the bot tells you that unless you are locked out of your account or suspect fraud they are to busy to review your email. What a joke. The FTC needs to investigate this company. Thats my next electronic stop!!!!

They are fraudulent, sale you coins even though they cannot transfer it and have u your money held for longer. They make you miss out on good trade that could change your life. Saddest part is that they don't inform you that they can't transfer your money for days before selling to you. Do not buy from coinbase.

Not Recommended. They will kindly open up a account with you and take your money...Now when it comes time that you want to transfer money elsewhere or withdraw...They are not so kind. I have had more fun with a IRS auditor then these people.

I have used coinbase within the last few weeks. My experience was horrible. My account was closed for no reason and customer service was the worst I have ever used. I contacted coinbase by phone after my accou t was locked, I waited for 2 hrs with no answers. This is unacceptable to wait that long when they have control of your money. The worst company, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!. YOU WILL LOOSE.

I did two transaction - putting money into my accountand taking my money out of the account. I began witn
$200.00 and left with 162.12.
I would lose money every day and could not understand why.
I cannot get a straight answer form Coinbase. I see they have a
office in San Francisco, CA and a phone number !-888-908-7930.
If you call bring a book, preferably "War and Peace".
I am going to suggest to anyone not to use this service. You will lose!

Coinbase is a bad example of a trading platform. Firstly, there are the hidden and frankly extortionate fees/commissions (e.g. when depositing funds, buying, selling, withdrawing). Secondly, their customer service is fucking horrible (some stupid robot which can only direct you to their FAQ articles) and when you actually contact a person via email, they are completely incompetent and give no help at all. Thirdly, their financial institution (AS LHV Pank, Estonia) is a bloody disgrace. I made a SEPA transfer to my Coinbase account which never arrived, my bank sent several requests to return the funds but no response and their own customer service team says you should contact Coinbase support as they do not discuss payment details related to Coinbase accounts. Overall, a fucking awful experience and i would advise everyone to stay away from Coinbase.

Worst service I've had, constant issues with the Mobile App and beyond slow response from support every time. Today the App it's not scanning QR codes and wire deposits and withdrawals are done in 5 business days! Coinbase is junk, I'm getting a divorce.

I sent bitcoins out of my coinbase wallet exactly 7 hours ago, the transaction hasn't reached the blockchain yet. Why is coinbase holding the digital currency for so long. On average a bitcoin transfer should take 30 minutes, but as for coinbase, 7 hours and counting. Move to a better wallet, coinbase sucks.

The website leads one to believe that the fee for purchase is 1.5% with a bank account. It is 6% which is pretty darn steep. They are extremely hard to get in touch with. The purchase is taking NINE DAYS to list. And again, the fees are sketchy, hard to determine, high and basically - it seems like they are lying about them.

Tried depositing $2600 from litecoin to my USD wallet. It disappeared and the account claims “complete” however $0 were deposited. Called support and after several calls and multiple hours waiting on the phone, I finally talked with a live rep two weeks later who claimed he could see the transaction but the funds were on hold and “he didn’t know why”. He said that the case would be escalate to their engineers and a month later, still nothing. Not a call or response to my ticket. Nor are they answering the phone after two hours on hold. STAY AWAY!

Coinbase let's you more for bitcoin than the actual price. 2 hours ago the exchange rate I paid was 11,600? Last time bitcoin was 11,600 was 10 hours ago. I paid at least 1500 too much on a bitcoin. I really hate coinbase. Always problems. Bad service, automated messages, high fees, long transactions, when you really need coins they cant deliver.

I bought 1000 USD worth of Litecoins on 19th Dec at the rate of 340 USD per litecoin. Money for this purchase has been deducted from my checking account on 20th December. But still I have not got the litecoins in my coinbase account. Now the litecoin has fallen from 340 USD to 180 USD and I cannot sell my purchase litecoins because it is still not available in my coinbase account. This is fraud. My money is being reduced to half so far.

Purchased etherium for about 600 and it’s been pending and I watched it peak at 840 and since my order is still pending I’m watching my etherium drop to 600 possibly lower... still pending btw. Don’t do exchanges on here it’s stupid how they’ll make you wait so long only to see the unstable market crash while you literally watch your money waste away because you could not receive any cryptocurrency on time

Terrible service. Holding on the phone now for an hour. Sold $72K worth of Bitcoin Cash and they only let you withdraw $10K per day. Customer service is non-existent. Use Gemini.com, they're fully insured, licensed in NY and have actual people on the phone.
