Bitstamp will not remove CC info without selfie sent to them! Not pleased at this strange policy. I do not see why this is needed. I am signing into this account with two-step authentification and requesting you delete data I myself have provided. Are you telling me using the security that is in place is insufficient? Why is said security sufficient when adding CCs? It seems no damage can be done by removing a CC on file. This sounds like extra hoops you are making customers jump through in hopes they will not remove their private information, am I wrong?

I transfered 8500 euros from my French bank account and it was done two days after , the second transfer of 10000 euros is blocked for more than 14 days because there is not the full name of my wife on my bank account documents issue by La Société Générale one of the biggest bank on the planet. When I ask them to send me back my money they still ask me a paper that I can not provide. Meanwhile Bitcoin raise of more than 20 % and I was not able to use my money to buy because I was blocked by stupid regulation that has nothing to do with security measures. Now when I ask them to send me my money back they do not reply . AVOID THIS PLATFORM !

I cannot make withdrawals, in my case of ethers. What is worst, they say it has been completed but you can check on etherscan the transfer has not been done! I have seen in coindesk news of 2 days ago that 19000 BTC worth value has been stolen from Bitstamp. Another MtGox?

They deleted my account without any reasoning and withheld my money for days charging 25€ fee. I never saw my bitcoin again. Criminal activity going on at bitstamp

Bistamp has become very inconsistent with their service, I have been a customer since 2013 and I will stop using them. I recently tried to transfer funds to my bank account, and they are saying I need a proof of address, however, I have had the same bank account for years so how come I was able to transfer before but I can't now?. I think they are having a lot of new people in their support team who have no idea what they are doing and they are simply delaying things for no reason. Oh and by the way they just blocked me from doing bitcoin withdrawals too, this should be illegal, they are holding my account hostage.I have been working on a decentralized solution for this problem for a while, we need to get rid of this awful exchanges, if you want to contribute I will leave my Coinbases BTC address. Thanks

Funny , I see how great Bitstamp is on these post.Not True, they have held over $ 200k since Oct. and they come up with an excuse every time as too why it has not been wired into mu account.
We have filed with Both the State of California and Michigan Attorney Generals Office and Now we are working with the SECC.
I would look to use another service as these guy's may go down with your money

I'm a customer since 2015 and gotta say Bitstamp delivers what is expected from the exchange - trading, support and all my withdrawals were swift, even in market frenzy. I also onboarded my friends. Bitstamp, I'll be even happier when you release your new mobile app (I understand you're beta testing it now). Keep up the good work!

This is a warning to all prospective customers of Bitstamp. They are taking increasingly long to process deposits and withdrawals. Please Google "Bitstamp reviews" and read people's comments on Reddit at r/Bitstamp before sending money to bitstamp. This is potentially a fraudulent or in the best case an insolvent operation. I strongly suggest to use a different service.

FRAUD, SCAM, They Terminated my account and dont want to give me back my funds. almost 1500 euros. Have evidence. The mail said: "Your remaining Bitstamp account balance will be debited as administrative costs. For more information, please see our fee schedule on the following link: ("NON-STANDARD PROCESSING" section, "Administrative costs" row).

Zero Stars,I submitted a withdrawal from Bitstamp on August 10, 2018. I have still not received my funds. This is a disgusting, unprofessional issue at best. Or outright theft.

Four weeks since USD withdrawal initiated. All I have been getting from Bistamp support is lies, excuses, and delay tactics. I will most likely have to go down the legal route to get my money.

I agree with the other reviews. Bitstamp.net has gone rogue and fraudulent!Started a US withdraw on Sept 28th and still haven't received it (today Oct. 16th.) Terrible communication!! Sent in all requested tax forms(w-9) and called customer service. They said they received the form and will process asap. A week later and nothing! I suspect FRAUD!!! I'm a reasonable person and understand delays, but come on.....3 weeks!!!! Never Again!
