BEWARE of scammers. I got a phone call with caller ID from Florida Power and Light telling me my service was going to be disconnected within 1/2 hour unless I paid the past due balance. I was indeed past due but had gotten an extension. ( first clue ) I was told I had to go get cash ( second clue ) and go to the bitcoin depot and make the payment there. She sent me a QR code that had to be scanned prior to the payment. I followed her directions and paid. She was on the phone while I did it. She then asked for the transaction ID. She then told me the payment was posted and the disconnect would not happen. I got back to work and checked my app and the balance was the same. I called FPL and asked about it and they said they did not use bitcoin express to collect payments. I called the police and they made a report.I then called bitcoin express and sent a photo of the receipt. After the guy put me on hold several times he came back and said there was nothing he could do. I needed to call within 5 minutes of the incident. I think this machine is just made for scammers. I mean, how many people are trading bitcoins in convenience stores?

absolute scam, any positive review below is made by the company. they do what is written below, they steal your money and hide their exchange rate. they took over $500 from me.

Transactions are practically seamless. Only issue has been the btm rejecting perfectly good bills Can't abandon the btm to go get replacements.. Haven't found a non-operating btm yet.

I also experienced what seemed to be an obscured ~18% markup due to a USD-to-BTC exchange rate that was higher than the going market rate (the transaction was processed at around $44,700/bitcoin, vs the going rate of around $37,000/bitcoin).As others have described, the exchange rate in use was not clearly stated until after the transaction had been completed.
The ~0.00216 bitcoin they sent in exchange for the $100 I put into the machine did make it to my wallet within the hour though.

Absolute scam. BTC was trading at $38,600 and they sold it to me at $46,430. That's a 20% markup! What's worse is they don't give you the exact exchange rate, or even what the percentage markup will be before you buy. They hide it by quoting you in satoshis and then printing out the exchange rate after the purchase. AND THEN they charge another $3 fee!!! I put $40 in their stupid machine and received $30.31 worth of BTC. I will never use BitcoinDepot again.

horrible high way robbery. they charge you a 20% markup on exchange rate and another 400$ fee on top of that. BTC was 33k i bought in with 5000$ dollars. they charge me 400$ plus exhagne my 5000$ at btc 38000 rate. this is a huge rip off. they told me exchange rate after purchase.

Your Bitcoin ATM is so easy to use and less stressful in dealing with finances and investing. I like the fact that I can invest any amount I want to instead of being required to invest a certain amount to use your services. It is so unique that I do not mind the charges you deduct for the purchase of the bit coins. I also like that your tutorials on the machine helps a beginner like me invest wisely. I use Bitcoin depot at least 4 times a week, it has been a safe and reliable place for myself to purchase btc. It has provided fast service and has always delivered my btc without a hassle or error message like I've experienced with other crypto atm.
