1st off. I am Canadian... Not sure where everyone else is from or if that is related to the problem. Xapo was great while it lasted in my country. I added funds via BTC, I sent BTC to my external wallets, and I went on a shopping spree with my card. I even received full refunds when I returned items with no problem. I've never had a need to contact support. I received a notice stating the card would stop working in Canada so I transferred my funds to my other account.

Xapo is a scam, a fraud. They will accept your BTC and once it's in their control you will be lucky to get it out. They barely respond to support emails, and if they do, their responses won't resolve your issue.I used to store a - to me - significant amount of BTCs, which I luckily moved to my Trezor. I have a small amount remaining on Xapo, which I want to move out. I tried to log in and it says my account is blocked. So I emailed them (support form) asking them to unblock my account. They responded saying after reviewing my account history, they no longer could provide services to me and would close my account within 24 hours and that I should move out any remaining balance within 24 hours or lose the BTCs.
I replied immediately that I was fine with this but that I could not log in as my account was blocked - they need to unblock and let me in.
No response since. I've emailed them several times.
Silence.
My account remains blocked.
Xapo is a fraud. STAY AWAY.

BEWARE OF THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I made a purchase in 2015 for 0.8 bitcoin and had not tried to log in until oct 2017.
First of all they would not accept my ID (any ID) in any form.
Second they would not allow me to change my phone number. Hmmm I Wonder why....
So, after a month of going through the process over and over i managed to get help from somebody on their support team who was very helpful, but to my surprise their was ONLY 0.54 cents or 67.75 BITS to be exact!!
So i still have my purchase email and the link for the transaction but my account shows transactions ONLY before the date of purchase. Even my BTC address (from 2015) show ZERO balance and no history!?

This place is the absolute worst experience I have had from any BTC wallet or company! Do not invest or transfer anything to this scam site! You will be locked out and they will keep sending you through verification that will FAIL every single time! I have been trying to get help and a human reply over a month now and have no access my BTC that I have with them since my purchase AND verification in 2015!! You will keep getting an automated message that your photo is too blurry and they will keep your money/btc! This site is an absolute scam!!

i can't give zero, Been trying to withdraw my coins since a week, they seem to be doing everything in their power to stop me from doing it. First the password that I remembered right, was wrong, they blocked account for 24h to reset the password. Then I made a send request, witch they now ask me to confirm on an mobile APP which I can't install on my phone because it's to old. Wrote to support waiting over 24 hours now to no avail. Useless if you ask me. Their fees are enormous.

XAPO HAS KEPT MY BITCOINS AND REFUSED TO SEND A PASSWORD RESET.DO NOT TO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
EMAILS TO XAPO SUPPORT HAVE NOT BEEN RESPONDED TO.
I tried to move my Bitcoin away from XAPO. It had been so long that I forgot my password. I tried password reset three times in the past 24 hours.
I have checked spam filter and called my ISP. They white listed XAPO so I will receive their emails, and advised that there have been no emails from XAPO in over 36 hours. In other words, XAPO never sent the password reset.
XAPO has my Bitcoins. It looks like I will have to hire an Attorney to get them back,

im increasingly concerned xapo is a scam!!! i bought from them atleast 4 coins now they seem to have blocked any withdrawals fom the account with 1.66 btc still in it!!! i have been verified and they have not asked for any information from me since blocking withdrawals! im sure the ceo of xapo is on the board of directors of paypal so i have just a tiny bit of hope that this will get sorted asap but judging from other reviews it seems unlikely. maybe a class action lawsuit can be filed against them? any body know any high level corporate lawyers?

After using them for a while without problems them blocked my Card after a larger transaction which was totally legit. They asked for a picture together with my ID. I send it to them and after a coupe of days they asked for proof of the purchase I made and sent that aswell and explained what it was for. It has gone 5 days and it still blocked and they dont respond. I told them if a regular bank blocked a Card for 5 days and with bad Communications they would go out of business and get suied. This is bad for Bitcoin that these jokers involves in the Crypto business and provides payment solutions. The only for me so far using Bitcoin is for long term holding and trading for some. Xapo has proven that using Bitcoin for purchase and cardpayment through their scam service destroys Bitcoin reputation. So sad so sad. IF you see Xapo. Just run fast away from these jokers.

Xapo has not been able to validate my residency in Costa Rica even after uploading 5 different documents, each one containing all the proper information requested. Due to this they have not issued my debit card but deducted the $20 from my account. I've been asking for a refund for over a month and they have chosen to ignore me completely. Tried Xapo before the fork, and since then everything went badly.1. They vanished with the BCH from forked chain.
2. They do not make public statements about it!
3. They do not give you the option to pay "Low priority" fee, on transactions;
4. They show artificial fees during transactions, forcing you to pay more than you should.
Avoid it!

If you deposit small amounts ther, forget about it it will be taken by those scammersthey are now asking for High Fees of at least $6.00 BTC LOL
Meaning if you want to send even $1.00 BTC to anyone else they will charge you that $6.00 (For Standard Miners Fee, the other one is $10 LOL)
Small amount of $6.00 are taken by them, bunch of scammers
(Imagine how many people there get their small amount stuck & can't send them to any other BTC address)
PS: they are also forcing people to donwload their stupid app because of that stupid 2nd factor verification code even if it's NOT activated in your profile hahah, got it, those guys are professional scammers.
I will delete their stupid app & will never use their wallet again even if they become the only & last official BTC blockchain.
