Gift cards for bitcoins on your smartphone

I was fine using Gyft for some time. I even authorized them to make transactions from my Coinbase wallet. I tried to buy a 150$ gift card and the transaction in Coinbase shows that they took out 149.99. This has obviously caused an issue but their customer service is completely unresponsive, and they've only removed my post from their Facebook page.

Gyft is a great service for paying with Bitcoin at places that don't yet take it directly. The app is the most streamlined and easy to use out there, and has an impressive selection.
Three drawbacks over eGifter: one-confirmation buying, no reward points, and no precise amounts. I've been wandering around the mall for 30+ minutes before waiting for a transaction to get a single confirmation, and had a balance left over on a card, which would never happen with eGifter.

They take all your personal information and then do not deliver. Horrible service, do not return phone calls (they will only take messages), the emails service might happen but they put you into an endless loop of sending them more personal information,,,and never getting what they advertise they have!!! THE worst company I have ever dealt with...period!!!

These guys are a bunch of crooks. Got a email stating I made a purchase for$50 which I hadn't. Filed a complaint with PayPal. As I was doing so another purchase went through for another $200 which the seller coincidentally cancelled immediately probably realizing they had been caught.

scam, they get your info and charge your credit card, but you cannot claim the purchased code

Signed up tried to make a purchase using PayPal and kept saying payment couldn't go through. After trying three times it said account suspended. I don't have time to jump through hoops to give someone my money so I told them to remove me completely and I uninstalled the app.

GYFT is one SCARY company to deal with! BEWARE! It sounds like they might be running a scam.
It started after I opened an account (they've been around a couple of years, so I thought they were legit.) So I proceeded to try to buy a gift card and my payment didn't go through (credit card), which is odd, so I tried again. That didn't work either, so I proceeded to use my PayPal email as payment. A few moments after that, I received an email saying that my account was suspended. So after reaching for customer service, they asked that they needed my ID as verification. I didn't think of it much since even PayPal does that.
Well, they refused to un-suspend my account. After this ordeal (and unhelpful customer sevice), I wouldn't want to deal with this company, HOWEVER, I am concerned regarding what information is out there that they have to make that decision. They refused to tell me anything, and it is not as if any of my information is new or new accounts (paypal user over 15 years, same bank account & credit card for ages, old phone, no new address). Basically nothing that should have raised a flag, but they still wouldn't tell me why.
My concern now is that they have ALL MY INFORMATION, ALL OF IT! ID, credit card, PayPal email, address, phone!
I don't even know what to do. I'm going to start looking around, after reading some other horror stories about this company. So if I can't find any information, I may have to contact agencies (Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General, etc...)
Darn it! Wish I had read some of these horror stories before I proceeded!
BEWARE! DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! STEER AWAY!

This site makes it so damn difficult to make purchases. Keeps telling me to verify my phone number, done, and then asks me to contact my bank to approve credit card charge, done and still the site tells me I need to confirm my identity. Dont bother with this site

This online scam vendor is the very worst of all time, not only doing fraudulent business practice, they even sent me a copy of forging statement they made it their own like no big deal!
Once I submitted the payment then got an automatic payment pending email said "We'll email you as soon as order processing completes. It could take up to 3 hours to receive your e-gift card."
After an hour, another incoming email said " We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This happens when our automated systems detect something that looks unusual to them.
To help us verify your account, please fill out this form . We'll notify you once your form has been reviewed. Usually within 3 days. " I clicked the form and it asks me to upload either my ID or PASSPORT!!!!!!!! Absolutely outrageous!
2 days after I wrote a few of emails without a straight answer back to me that explains why collecting my info of ID has to take place? I offer them to swap my payment method instead but they never responded for that! And yeah, They did changed my card immediately, then asked my ID check, later take it all the way homerun to freeze my account, so it could leave me no way to claim my purchase as a whole deal it planed!
Not finish yet! They finally got back to me today with a false statement they claimed that "the transaction was voided on our end." I email back my card account overview screenshot, FIRST DATA MERCHANT SERVICE has already charged the full payment, oh, that's another name of GYFT ...pair of online scammers! Lesson learned!

Received a Target gift card via GYFT and could not use it. Poor instructions and customer service would not know what to do. Very dissapointing.

I've used them, and still do, spent over $1000 there now.

I buy/spend using gyft everyday! I have never had a problem, not one. I use bitcoin so mabey your own bank or cardholder had an issue and sent something to gyft that made it look suspicious.
