I buy and invest through midaswalletcom. My bitcoin never depreciates in value even when there’s a market shift, It rather appreciates weekly. My ReF: UTK9O8

Hello, I'm the office manager at Canadian Bitcoins. I'm only doing a star rating as it is required to post. I just want to respond to a few of the comments here. Any can feel free to call me at our office 613-369-5009 ext 12 or email me to our office email putting "to the attention of Alistair" in the subject line. As to the one from Justyn Logan - I've looked for an account under your name I cannot find one to confirm or comment on your experience. for Cristina - if you are looking to get a verified account, please call and I can look at what you currently have submitted and what needs to be done to continue. Or you can log into your account and delete any documents you have currently uploaded for Ekritol - I'm not sure what company you are wanting to comment on but its not us, We are not a Quebec based company or do we offer a wallet service to hold peoples coins. for Justin _ Im going to presume that you are part of a batch in January where we had our pay provider end their services with us as their bank told them they could not work with crypto currency businesses. We were left scrambling to find a way to send out payments and it took a long time to find a way to get a new one. We shut off the ability for people to sell us coins once we were told they weren't sending out our orders. All I can do is apologises to you if you were caught up in that, it was not fun for any of us. for Anon - not sure where you think you are seeing self posted reviews about us under different names. I'f I have posted anything anywhere I believe I have always said I worked here. There might be one or two before I started when I was a client. If you think there are reviews elsewhere please call or email me as I'd like to see which of our staff might be doing that so I can address it. for John in Ottawa - we offer other online methods to buy from us that work with TD. you could have used them, also if you are in Ottawa you could come to our office to buy using debit and your TD card would work through our debit machine. for Colin - I' can't comment directly on yours as I don't have enough info to look up your order to say anything. Yes we are a Broker, we buy and sell directly with our clients. Our price can be lopsided depending on our inventory. If our price is high its cause we actually need people to sell to us and we are trying to discourage people from buying from us at that time. for Jack Olantern - as mentioned above we are a Brokerage not an Exchange that will make a difference in prices at certain times. Please also be aware our fees are built into our price and is not a % taken off the end of the exchange trade.

Several issues with this website: - Bought on Feb. 05, didn't receive until Feb 20th. I bought 14 LTC when it was $168 and they only sold me 7 LTC at $336. -The day they managed to get around to selling to me was RIGHT when it pumped and inflated in price. Then immediately dropped once I received my coins (check LTC charts midday Feb 20th to see for yourself) - The thing is, I wouldn't have minded too much if it was sent within the promised 7-9 day processing time for bank wires. It would have been a bad luck of the draw on my part, but it took over two weeks for this process to complete. It took so long, that some of my orders didn't go through, because they expired and timed-out because of their delay. I had to phone them to manually push the transfer through. -Which brings me to the next point: their customer service is either full of dopey potheads, or they made it seem like I was bothering them, or something. I've called them before on previous transactions, and it's the same sleepy voiced, couldn't-care-less attitude as if making a living selling crypto is too much work for them. -I highly suggest looking elsewhere for all other Canadian crypto traders. (If anyone would be so kind and help me find compensation for my missing LTC, my address is below. Much appreciated!!)

its terrible......i know that this is not fraud.. waste money......!!!!

I could not sign up to this website. Tried calling and they said they would call back but never did. I input some personal information and think they might use it for fraud at this point. I hope nobody else has the same issues as me and I wish everyone good luck buying crypto currencies!

After 3 weeks of waiting from the time i sold 2 LTC I finally received my money via direct deposit. Only one answered call out of countless attempts to talk with someone, absolutely no response via email and virtually no customer support. When i finally got through over the phone, the guy i spoke with told me right away when the transaction was completed and when i could expect my money. They used my phone number to find the account info but didn't say anything about it so i was quite uneasy about it. Will not use their service again and would not recommend using their services.

Service is very difficult to work with and I could not really get anywhere without calling. Seems like this is a scam as others have also had their money taken from this service. Also, I noticed that the people on the phone are reviewing themselves on google reviews which also seems kind of shady.

It was a very frustrating to try using Quebex exchange services. I never got the video chat requested. I never got a call back for increasing limit of funding. I lost over 50% trying to withdraw to an other wallet: Since you are only allowed to withdraw half your bitcoins in one transaction, my wallet showed zero BTC left after the first withdraw. Scam and theft. Quebex shouldn’t be allowed to manage exchanges.

Can't get support from these guys. Waited 3 days (so far) for a confirmation to buy. I managed to speek with one guy to explain i wanted to invest... And he didn't even get back to me. Now I am just waiting for my 7 days of screening to be over to withdraw my BTCs. Look somewhere else.

Terrible customer service. Jumped through *all* the hoops, providing all my personal information, such as voided cheque (twice), credit check, telephone confirmation, etc. ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT YOU CANNOT BUY BITCOIN USING BILL PAYMENT THROUGH TDCANADA TRUST. Also VISA branded debit cards WILL NOT WORK because they have nothing to do with "INTERAC ONLINE". It would have been nice had Canadian Bitcoin said so up front! Called to complain and ask that all my personal information be deleted but the staff there has no soul. Rubbish.

Worst place in Canada to buy Crypto. High fees and awful communication. Kept checking my order to see if it filled. The cash was sitting there for 6 days during which time I could have bought BTC at a much lower price. Finally found out that I had to re-enter the BTC buy order, even though the send address had been entered with the original order. Stay away from these amateurs. BTW they are NOT an exchange just brokers collecting a fee for being a middle man. Better off to get verified at QuadrigaCX.

Very High Commissions when you compare the difference in Bit Coin Daily Values! Today the posted price of Bit Coin on coindesk.com is $2,749 CAD, ($2,198.88 USD) but the price Canadian Bitcoins is selling the coins for is $3,145. That is a $396.00 difference. I can see charging say a 3% to 5% commission but 14%! Seriously?! That's what I call Organized Crime. Somebody is making a lot of money buying and reselling Bit Coins to Canadians! After all the hassle I went through to set up an account with this company, I am now looking for a better broker.

Convenience is great, but the fees are high. 8% transaction fee is high That means your coin has to profit 8% just to make back its initial investment. That's a high risk.

Decided to take a chance on them and no problems. I sold some BTC for cash and they sent it from Ottawa within 2 days via Canada Post. I did this online on their website. They don't seem to communicate by e-mail, I would recommend calling them ahead of time to make sure they're still in business. They appear to be an office within a larger software company and it sounds like they're either lacking staff or just refuse to reply to e-mails. Overall my experience was good, I would recommend them, but you might have better luck on a different website at least as far as service goes. I just didn't want to supply a bunch of documents on another website, this was simple in the end, simply just send the BTC and they send you cash.

so i thought i would try these guys out, and my first interactions so far left me annoyed. i tried selling coins on here, and the buyer stopped responding and the coins are tied up for an hour an half with no way for me to cancel the transaction.

QUEBEX FINTECH Inc. has just launched the first Canadian P2P Bitcoin Exchange www.Quebex.com. Unlike other P2P Bitcoin exchanges, users who register with Quebex face a rigorous vetting process with many layers of security checks to help weed out bad actors. Since implementing our current verification policy in late 2016, Quebex has seen hundreds of trades without a single instance of fraud. Quebex is also a federally registered Money Service Business with FINTRAC. Our registration with FINTRAC should reassure clients that we take exhaustive precautions to ensure that the Bitcoins you buy come from legitimate sources. By adhering to these standards and proactively monitoring transactions, Quebex is making Bitcoin trading safer for everyone who uses its services. Bitcoin prices on www.Quebex.com have traditionally been much lower than on competing sites, which also tend to have higher fees and less thoroughly vetted users. Accepted Payment methods include: Interac™ Online, Interac™ Email Money Transfers, Cash, Wire Transfers, Bank Deposits and PayPal. More payment options are coming soon.
