I have not used it for a while, when I tried to log in I got a msg that my account was banned for inactivity.They wanted all kinds of proof to let me log in, some of it impossible, like FIAT currency withdrawal info, I have never withdrawn or deposited any FIAT only LTC. Tried to explain to them, no meaningful answer, only copy & paste the same email 8 times! Stay away or you will loose everything.

On their troll box now. Watching them laugh as they told a guy their steeling his money and bannin him. Then he was kicked out. Soon after I saw him in forms and the guy was distraught because they blocked his IP and won't respond to his support tickets. I'm currently trying to widthdraw my coins after seeing this but I can't. They won't let me and I'm in fear as though I'm being screwed too.

Been an active member for 2 years. They just decided to lock me out of my account containing 711 LTC currently worth $25000. They won't respond to any support tickets and they are actually deleting the tickets from their support page. They are absolutely disgusting people with no morals. They will steal from you. Take t from me, I'm out $25,000 with little to no hope of it being returned. Iv filed complaints with the FTC as well as action fraud the national fraud and cyber crime unit for the U.K. Please don't be a victim like me. The feeling of losing your life savings is a horrible one.

Do. Not. Use. Btc-E.I have about 150 litecoins in my account and let them sit there, you know, like a good investor would. Nearly 4 years later I check the prices and my coins are worth about $4,000. But, my account is locked up because of inactivity. Submitted a ticket and they got back to me asking for information. I sent them everything I could, including multiple proofs of identity and now they want screenshots of deposits to the account. The thing is, how in the FUCK can I show proof of deposits when I can't access my account. I think they set up impossible standards for account recovery, can then claim fraud, and seize the assets. If I had the money, I would hire a lawyer to sue them, but seeing as they were already under investigation by the Russian government, if they can't stop them, I doubt I could.

BTC-e is legit. I have been locked out due to inactivity, but got my account with funds and coins back after several mails and proof of ID. It costed me one week of freaking out.

Hello.My account was bloked because "no activity" (without any prior notification before do this...) and they keep all my BTC's.... I try to contact to the support (with all the documentation they ask for to prove I'm the owner of the account) and after 3 days NO response AT ALL.
Please be carefull, because I start to supect they are scammers... I read more about people with the same problem... INFORM BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR MONEY THERE

BTC-E.Good Admin...no mods..Fewer coins to watch makes trading easier especially good for getting a feel of cryptocurrency cycles..
Advice box to find experienced traders with chat limit set high.. This is beneficial as it cuts out spammers to a greater degree.
No audit, But Knox like in keeping funds safe.
BTC-E has weathered many storms where other sites closed and customers lost funds entirely.
Solid vetting process and if you have issues with your account it will be resolved through a systematic and easily understandable process.

Got my account suspended and they enabled for me! Yah it took a bit of verification process (which I AM GLAD THEY HAVE ONE!) but I am able to access my fund!I am comparing this to another exchange that has issues with their website! and they really made this work for me I am really satisfied !

I have been with BTC-e since 2014 and have never had any real issues with them until recently. I tried to log in to my account only to find that it had been locked and that I had to contact support to have it unblocked. Initially, support was very quick to respond, and provided me with a list of proof that I had to supply them with to regain access of my account. Well, after hearing about the phishing emails and confirming that I had indeed been communicating with the real BTC-e helpdesk, I sent them everything that they had asked for. From that point on, they have completely stopped responding to my emails and any further tickets that I submit. Not a single response from them and its been almost a week now. Like some others have said before, stay away from btc-e now or you run the risk of losing everything!!!

I have an account at BTC-e for several years. Recently they blocked my withdrawals indefinitely or until I provide bunch of documents to their support. Must say that their support is the worst i ever encountered. They have one predefined answer and they post it over and over again. Never answered my questions. My funds are still blocked because I am hesitating to scan my passport and all other documents and send it to some Russian scammers. Who knows what may they do with my identity especially after reading all the complains other people have with them.
